Seeking Relief from Persistent Ear Ringing After Covid Vaccine - #49043
After some time Covid Vaccine, I started feel something is jumping, humming sound in my ears. I didnt do anything. Then after a year plus It started ringing sound during video/ audio calls. Then I consulted ayurveda practitioner. He prescribed me ASANWILWADI oil (few drops in to ear after removing coldness). I used it for couple of months but no benefit at all. I stopped it, then I used wireless head phones maximum 3,4 days( each day 2,3 hours continuously). Before that I didnt use headphones that much. Then within those days my ears started ringing all the time day and night. Its nearly 1 year now since itS ringing regularly. I am using asanwilwadi again. Sometimes I miss a day or two. My question is Asanwilwadi oil will work for me? If it works how long roughly it will take. Should I need some medication too? I am thinking for panchkarma. This doctor is different who prescribed me ASANWILWADI oil. He said he is not sure my ears will definately be cured after Panchkarma. He said it may be work positive but he cant promise. What should I do?is there a way to get rid of it?Please advise genuinly. Thank you in advance Now my age is 44.

Doctors' responses
Unlikely to cure your tinnitus, especially after 1 year of constant ringing. Why? Asanwilwadi taila is traditionally used for: Ear dryness Mild Vata imbalance Temporary ear discomfort It does NOT repair nerve-related tinnitus, which is the most common type—especially when: Ringing is continuous (day & night) Triggered/worsened after headphone use Present for more than 6–12 months - u didn’t find any result with this then stop it. - yes headphones can make it worseThe inner ear or auditory nerve was already sensitive Volume was moderate–high Continuous use without breaks This suggests noise-induced nerve irritation, not just ear canal or wax issues. - Panchakarma: May help stress/sleep, no guarantee of cure -What to do now: See an ENT and get a hearing test (audiometry) Avoid headphones & silence (use soft background sound) Manage stress & sleep Medicines only if ENT advises
