Doctors' responses

For acne and dark spots, which indicate an imbalance in Pitta and Kapha doshas, I recommend applying Kumkumadi Tailam at night, which helps clear dark spots and improves skin texture. For internal cleansing, Neem and Manjistha tablets can help purify the blood and reduce acne. Avoid oily, spicy, and processed foods, and include more fresh fruits, vegetables, and water in your diet.

For hair fall and dandruff, regular Abhyanga (scalp massage) with Bhringraj oil or Neelibhringadi oil can nourish the scalp and strengthen hair roots. Use a mild, herbal shampoo like Amla Reetha Shikakai or Neem-based shampoo to cleanse the scalp without stripping natural oils. Avoid harsh chemical shampoos and opt for lukewarm water to wash hair. A balanced diet rich in iron, protein, and vitamins, along with stress management practices like yoga, will further support skin and hair health.

Alright, let’s dive into this. When you’r dealing with acne, dark spots and hair issues in Ayurveda, it’s often about balancing your doshas, mainly Pitta dosha, which can cause inflammation and oil problems when it goes a bit haywire. To tackle those stubborn dark spots, I’d start with cooling and soothing the skin. Try applying a paste made from sandalwood powder and rose water. Just mix them into a smooth paste, put it on the dark spot areas for about 15 minutes then rinse. It can help with the Pitta-related heat on your face.

As for your acne, cleansing your skin is vital, but don’t go for very harsh stuff. A gentle neem soap could work, it’s good for detoxifying. A mix of turmeric and honey as a face mask every now and then might be helpful too, cause turmeric’s naturally antibacterial.

Hairfall and dandruff, they are red flags your scalp (and maybe your diet) need attention. Good move to think of oils. Bhringraj oil or sesame oil might be pretty useful here. Warm a bit of oil, massage into your scalp at least once a week. Leave it overnight if you can. And yeah, you can try a shampoo with natural ingredients, maybe something with aloe vera or tea tree oil.

Diet-wise, stay hydated and eat cooling, less spicy food. Think fresh fruits, veggies and lots of hydration. Stress can mess with your skin and hair too, so remember to relax, Meditate or simple breathing exercises can help more than you think.

Remember, everyone is unique, so might have to tweak things a bit. Give it some time, and if nothing shifts, don’t hesitate to ask a local Ayurvedic practitioner for more individual guidance.
