Hi! Irregular bowel movements and incomplete digestion are signs of a weak Agni (digestive fire) or an imbalance in Vata dosha. Here’s a step-by-step plan to address this issue:

Start your morning with a glass of warm water mixed with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of rock salt. This stimulates bowel movements and wakes up your digestive system.

Take Triphala churna (1 teaspoon) with warm water at bedtime. Triphala gently cleanses the intestines and regulates bowel movements.

Drink warm water throughout the day, preferably infused with a few cumin and fennel seeds, to support digestion and prevent bloating.

Include a small piece of fresh ginger with a pinch of salt before meals. It boosts digestive enzymes and improves gut motility.

Focus on a warm, easily digestible diet. Khichdi (a mix of rice and lentils) with ghee is excellent for resetting digestion. Avoid heavy, fried, or cold foods.

Add fibrous vegetables like bottle gourd, zucchini, and carrots to your diet, but cook them lightly to make them easier to digest.

Practice yoga poses like Pavanamuktasana (Wind-Relieving Pose) and Malasana (Garland Pose) daily to improve bowel movement and release trapped gas.

Avoid skipping meals and eat at regular times to train your digestive system. Make lunch your heaviest meal when your digestive fire is strongest.

Follow this routine consistently for a couple of weeks. If the issue persists, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to explore any deeper imbalances or dosha-related concerns.
