Namaste, You have been taking Nexito Plus for 15 years for anxiety and irritation. Since your anxiety is moderate and affecting daily life, it is important to proceed carefully. First, do not stop your current medicine suddenly. Long-term anxiety medicines should always be tapered slowly under medical supervision. Sudden stopping can increase anxiety, sleep disturbance, and restlessness. Ayurveda can support anxiety management gradually, but it is usually done as a supportive transition, not an immediate replacement. For long-term calming support, the following are commonly used under guidance: Brahmi for mental calmness and focus Ashwagandha for stress adaptation and nervous system strength Jatamansi for sleep and irritability Regular abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil Daily pranayama and meditation Since you already follow a healthy lifestyle, that is a strong advantage. Before planning any replacement, it is better to assess: Your current dose stability Sleep quality Thyroid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels Any past attempts to reduce medicine A gradual integrative plan can be made where Ayurvedic medicines are started, and once stability is maintained, the allopathic medicine may be tapered slowly with supervision. There is no need to rush. The goal is stable mental health, not quick withdrawal. With proper monitoring and a structured plan, many people are able to reduce dependency gradually and safely.
