Hello, It would be ideal if you would let know since how long you have this problem and also are you on any medications for the same? How did it start, is there any history of fall/injury. Answrs to these questions will help to advice on appropriate oil. However till then the following will help you to address the pain 1. Murivenna 2. Karpuradi thailam Mix both the oils (equal quantity); warm the oil and apply from lower back till feet; let it stay for a minimum of one hour. Then take hot water shower. Take care, Kind regards.

In such cases, I usually recommend Panchakarma therapy, especially Basti (medicated enema), along with internal medications for better and faster results. Please make sure to take adequate rest and follow the medicines regularly. 🩺 Treatment Plan (For 1 Month) 1. Rasna Saptak Kadha – Take 3 times a day with lukewarm water 2. Vaat Gajankush Ras 3. Ekangveer Ras – Take both medicines together, twice a day after meals, along with the kadha ⸻ This combination helps in: ✔️ Balancing aggravated Vata ✔️ Reducing pain, stiffness, and nerve involvement ✔️ Improving overall mobility and strength For best results, Panchakarma (Basti therapy) is highly recommended alongside this treatment.

Hello, You are likely dealing with early stage degeneration or disc related irritation in the lower spine- commonly correlated with conditions like Lumbar spondylosis or mild disc bulge In simple terms -the L4- L5-S1 region bears most of your body weight -weakness, strain or degeneration here leads to pain while sitting, bending, or doing work -your need for a belt indicates muscle weakness + instability In Ayurveda, this is understood as katigraha/gridhrasi (vata disorder), where aggravated Vata dosha dries and weakens tissues, causing pain and sitffness Treatment goals -reduce aggravated vata -strengthen bone and nerves -improve lubrication of joints/discs -reduce pain and dependency on belt -prevent progression Internal medications 1) Sahacharadi kashaya= 15ml + 45ml warm water twice daily before meals =best for lower back pain, + nerve involvement 2) Yogaraj guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =reduces inflammation, improves joint mobility 3) Dashmoolarishta= 20ml + equal water twice daily after meals =deep vata pacification + muscle relaxation 4) Gandha taila= 10 drops with warm milk in morning =strengthens bones and ligaments 5) Ksheerbala 101 capsule= 1 cap twice daily after meals =nourishes nerves, reduces chronic pain Duration= minimum 6-8 weeks External treatment very important 1) Kottamchukadi taila -daily gentle massage on lower back =reduces stiffness and pain 2) Dhanwantaram taila -best for strengthening muscles and nerves Use warm oil, massage for 15 minutes Yoga and pranayam Do gently, avoid pain -bhujangasana -makarasana -setu bandhasana -shalabhasana Pranayam -Anulom Vilom= balances vata -bhramari= reduces pain perception Practice daily 20 min no jerks Diet very important - warm, freshly cooked meals -cow ghee 2 tsp daily -milk with turmeric at night -sesame seeds, almonds -moong dal, cooked vegetables Avoid -cold foods, fridge items -dry foods biscuits, namkeen -excess tea, coffee -sour and fermented foods -sitting long without movement Home remedies 1) Garlic milk= boil 2-3 garlic cloves in milk drink at night =reduces pain + strengthens nerves 2) Castor oil= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm milk once weekly =relieves vata and stiffness 3) Hot fomentation= use salt pouch or hot water bag daily Investigations needed If not done -MRI lumbar spine -vitamin d and b12 Important Lifestyle advise -avoid prolonged sitting take breaks every 30-40 min -avoid bending forward suddenly -don’t life heavy weights -gradually reduce belt dependency -sleep on a firm mattress Your condition is manageable and reversible in early stages with consistent Ayurvedic care. The key is Regular oiling + internal medicines + gentle strengthening Avoid expecting instant relief- Ayurveda works deeply and gradually, but results are long lasting Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

–Yes — Ayurveda can definitely help manage L4–L5 and L5–S1 mild disc issues, especially for pain relief and improving function. But I’ll be honest with you: - It won’t “fix” the disc structurally overnight, but it can reduce pain, stiffness, and dependency on the belt if done properly. Rx- 1) mahayograj gugulu 2 tab twice daily after meal 2) mahavishgarbh taila for local application with heat fomentation Panchakarma procedure - — for better relief and result ho for Panchakarma procedure at nearby panchkarma centre - sarvang snehan swedan - kati basti with Dashmoola taila - taila basti with 40 ml Dashmoola taila For 7 days

Ayurveda can help manage and significantly reduce pain, improve strength, and sometimes avoid surgery in mild cases—but it works best with proper guidance and consistency, not just oil application alone. 1)yogaraja guggulu – 1 tab twice daily 2)maharasnadi kwath – 15–20 ml with warm water 3) Apply sahacharadi taila → best for sciatica + lower back panchkarma treatment 4)kati basti → oil pooling on lower back This therapy directly act on disc area and nerves and are considered core treatment for disc issues.

Namaste, Your condition — L4, L5, S1 involvement with pain requiring belt support — indicates lower back strain with disc involvement and vata aggravation affecting the spine. The focus should be on reducing pain, improving spinal strength, and supporting nerve function. Avoid forward bending, heavy lifting, and prolonged sitting. Do not depend continuously on the belt — use it only when needed, as overuse can weaken muscles. Gentle physiotherapy and strengthening exercises are very important for long-term relief. Maintain proper posture and use a firm mattress. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Yogaraja Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Mahayogaraja Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Dashmoolarishta – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily after food External application: Dhanwantharam Taila or Mahanarayana Taila – apply over lower back daily, followed by gentle massage and mild heat These are traditionally used to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support spine health when combined with proper care and exercises. With consistent treatment and physiotherapy, many people are able to manage pain and reduce dependency on support belts. Improvement is gradual and may take a few weeks to months. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.
