Please am having a pain in my spinal cord. When ever I start feeling this pain,I become weak especiallyin my right arm. I also feel some disturbing feeling like slightly burning sensation at the lower back of the head and some funny feeling I my waist.

While Ayurveda can provide supportive care, it is important to understand that weakness in one arm may indicate involvement of the nerves, spinal cord, cervical spine, or even certain neurological condition Ayurvedic Perspective In Ayurveda, these symptoms may be related to an aggravated Vata Dosha, particularly affecting the Majja Dhatu (nervous tissue) and the channels associated with the spine and nerves. When Vata becomes disturbed, it can manifest as: Pain along the spine Weakness or loss of strength in a limb Burning, tingling, or abnormal sensations Stiffness and reduced mobility Fatigue and nervous system imbalance Supportive Ayurvedic Measures 1. Vata-Pacifying Diet Favor: Warm, freshly cooked meals Soups, stews, and cooked vegetables Ghee in moderation Warm milk with a pinch of turmeric (if tolerated) Soaked almonds and dates Avoid: Cold drinks Excessively dry, processed, or fried foods Skipping meals Excess caffeine and alcohol 2. Herbal Support Traditionally used Ayurvedic herbs for nervous system support include: Ashwagandha: 3–5 g powder once or twice daily with warm milk or water. Brahmi: Supports mental and nervous system function. Guduchi (Giloy): Helps support overall vitality and tissue health 3. External Therapies Gentle massage of the neck, shoulders, back, and affected arm with warm: Mahanarayana Taila Ksheerabala Taila A warm compress may also help reduce muscular stiffness. 4.
