Advise nourishing diet, daily gentle oil massage, sunlight exposure, and physiotherapy. In a 3-year-old child, difficulty in sitting up properly, running, and climbing stairs for more than 6 months with pain should be taken seriously and needs a proper pediatric evaluation first. It may relate to muscle weakness, joint issues, vitamin deficiency, or neuromuscular imbalance. From an Ayurvedic supportive perspective, this condition can be understood as a possible imbalance of Vata (governing movement and nerves) along with weak “Shakti” (muscle strength and bone nourishment). Gentle Ayurvedic Support Approach 1. Nourishing Strength (Balya therapy) Daily gentle oil massage with Bala Taila or Mahanarayan oil Focus on legs, hips, and lower back Follow with warm bath This helps improve muscle tone, circulation, and Vata balance 2. Internal nourishment Classical tonics like Ashwagandha preparations, Bala-based formulations, or chyawanprash in small dose may support strength

Very important is to get her evaluated with a pediatrician to check for any developmental delays or problems just cannot leave it un evaluated. Diet Recommendations: Avoid packed food like cakes, biscuits and breads. Milk thrice a day is must. Avoid breastfeeding. Give proper meals of millets, vegetables without salt and spicy ingredients. Include fruits in the diet. Give her one boiled egg daily. Lifestyle Recommendations: Avoid screen so that she gets in physical activites and that will help in muscle building. Appriciate her into playing physical games. Daily light massage is very important. Medication: Shatavari kalp 1 tsp in milk thrice a week. Tab. Praval Panchamrit Ras Half tab twice a day with milk and shatavari kalp Syp. Kumari Asav No 3. 2 tsp twice a day after food. Chandanbalalakshadi Taliam Bosy massage for 25 min daily followed by hot fomentation.

Dietary and Nutritional Support ​Ensure her diet is rich in Agni-deepana (easy to digest) but deeply nourishing foods to support muscle growth: Ksheera (Milk): Whole milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric or a small amount of Ashwagandha powder (if advised by your attending doctor) helps build strength. ​Healthy Fats: Include easily digestible fats like standard cow’s ghee in her daily meals to pacify Vata.
