49 वर्ष की आयु में घुटनों में उठने-बैठने और सीढ़ी चढ़ने पर दर्द प्रारंभिक ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस या संधिवात के कारण हो सकता है। आयुर्वेदिक उपचार: महायोगराज गुग्गुल 2 गोली दिन में 2 बार भोजन के बाद गुनगुने पानी के साथ। महा रास्नादि क्वाथ 15–20 ml बराबर पानी मिलाकर दिन में 2 बार भोजन के बाद। नारायण तैल या महास्नायु तैल से घुटनों पर हल्की मालिश करें। अवधि: 6–8 सप्ताह तक लें, फिर स्थिति का पुनर्मूल्यांकन करें। यदि दर्द अधिक हो, सुबह जकड़न रहती हो, या घुटनों में सूजन/गर्मी हो तो RA factor, ESR, CRP तथा घुटनों का X-ray करवाना उचित रहेगा। यदि आपको मधुमेह, किडनी रोग या अन्य नियमित दवाएँ चल रही हैं तो बताएं।

सारिका जी, आपके बताए लक्षण—49 वर्ष की आयु, घुटनों में दर्द, उठने-बैठने और सीढ़ी चढ़ने में दर्द, लेकिन सूजन नहीं होना—आयुर्वेद के अनुसार संधिगत वात (Sandhigata Vata) या घुटनों के शुरुआती घिसाव (ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस) की ओर संकेत कर सकते हैं। महायोगराज गुग्गुल ऐसे मामलों में अक्सर उपयोग किया जाता है और लाभकारी हो सकता है। सामान्य खुराक: 1–2 गोली, दिन में 2 बार भोजन के बाद गुनगुने पानी के साथ अवधि: प्रारंभिक रूप से 6–8 सप्ताह तक यदि लाभ हो रहा हो तो आयुर्वेद चिकित्सक की सलाह से आगे भी जारी रखा जा सकता है। साथ में ये उपाय भी करें: घुटनों पर रोज़ गुनगुने तिल के तेल या Mahanarayan तेल से मालिश करें mainly maalish se vata dosh gutno mein nhi badhega balki reduce hoga jisse dard kam hoga. मालिश के बाद Arand patra se हल्की सिकाई करें steam se slimminess aayegi jisse knee joint mein friction kam hoga dard mejn nilkul aaram milega. ठंडी, बासी और अधिक सूखी चीज़ों से बचें। वजन अधिक हो तो उसे नियंत्रित करें। नियमित हल्के घुटने के व्यायाम करें। यदि दर्द बहुत अधिक है या लंबे समय से है, तो घुटने का X-ray (AP & Lateral View) करवा लेना उपयोगी रहेगा ताकि घिसाव की स्थिति का पता चल सके।
