Premature ejaculation (PE), where sperm is released quickly with minimal stimulation, can be caused by stress, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, or physical conditions. In Ayurveda, herbs like Ashwagandha (for stress reduction), Shatavari (to strengthen sexual health), and Kapikacchu (for stamina and control) may help improve the condition. Pelvic floor exercises like Kegels can also help with better control over ejaculation. Managing stress through yoga and meditation, alongside a healthy diet, can improve sexual performance. If the problem persists, it's advisable to consult a doctor or urologist to rule out underlying conditions and explore further treatment options.

It sounds like you might be experiencing what's known as premature ejaculation, which is a common concern for many men. The thing about it is, it can be caused by stress, anxiety, or even something more physiological like imbalances in your body's energies as understood through Ayurveda. From an Ayurvedic standpoint, it might be helpful to look into your dosha balance. Imbalances, particularly with the Vata dosha, could be playing a role here. Vata types are known for their quickness and, sometimes, this reflects in the body’s functions too. But don't worry, Ayurveda offers ways to address it. You might start by incorporating Ashwagandha or Shatavari into your daily routine, these adaptogens can help stabilize energy levels and reduce anxiety, potentially helping with this issue over time. Usually, you’d take them as powder with warm milk or water, once or twice a day. They should help in calming the mind and improving stamina. Pay attention to your diet too. Eating grounding, warm, and nutritious foods that balance Vata, like cooked vegetables, grains, and legumes, could support better energy management. Avoiding stimulants like coffee would also be beneficial. And then, there's practice of mindfulness meditation and breathing exercises like pranayama — Anulom-Vilom could be particularly useful. They not only help in managing anxiety but also in improving control over bodily functions. Spend at least 10 minutes daily on these practices. Lifestyle tweaks, like maintaining a regular sleep schedule and staying active, play their part too. Try setting regular bedtime, adequate sleep refreshes the body and stabilizes the mind. However, it's essential to chat with a healthcare provider or a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner to make sure these suggestions align with your overall health needs. And if this continues or affects your wellbeing significantly, do not hesitate to seek professional help.
