Bringraj hair oil - scalp massage with finger tip, hair wash to be done next day weekly twice/thrice

Eat black sesame seeds + jaggery (1 tsp daily). Drink fresh Amla juice or consume raw Amla daily. Include ghee, soaked almonds, walnuts, dates, and coconut in your diet. To enhance your hair growth and increase volume, think of it as nurturing a plant. Each step will be to nourish, care, and provide the right environment for growth. Thin hair often points to dosha imbalances, particularly Vata and Pitta. These govern hair health and need balance.

First thing, assess your diet. It’s the soil for your hair. Incorporate a diet rich in proteins and healthy fats — like almonds, sesame seeds, and leafy greens. They are nourishing for your hair follicles. Avoid excess spicy, oily, and salty foods as they can aggravate Pitta, causing hair loss or thinning.

Stay hydrated! Drinking water keeps your body and scalp healthy, indirectly improving hair’s moisture and strength. Herbal teas like Brahmi or Ashwagandha ones are fantastic for balancing Vata-Pitta, promoting growth.

Oiling hair is like watering plants. Use warm oils like coconut or sesame oil with a few drops of essential oils like Rosemary or Lavender. Gently massage the scalp, stimulating blood flow and delivering nutrients to hair roots. Aim for twice weekly application, then wash after a few hours.

Speaking of washing, use mild, herbal shampoos. Harsh chemicals found in many commercial shampoos strip the hair of its natural oils. After washing, apply a natural hair pack (like fenugreek paste or aloe vera) to further condition and nurture the hair.

Your daily routine, or dinacharya, affects hair health. Practice yoga or mindful exercises to increase blood circulation to the scalp, managing stress which often leads to hair loss.

Rest and sleep are essential. Aim for 7-8 hours. Poor sleep increases stress, leading to imbalance.

Remember, natural remedies take time but are effective for long-term results, offering real nourishment rather than a quick fix. Patience is crucial. If hair thinning persists or worsens, consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice or check underlying health issues.

Thanks so much for clarifying this! I had no idea mixing meds could be risky. I'll stick to my doctor's meds and look into Ayurveda separately.
