How to reduce swelling and fluid in fallopian tube? - #21104

Pracs

I got mild swelling and fluid in left fallopian tube in my last TVS scan, I am 36 and TTC for 2nd kid. It was not there before but somehow got this month. Please let me know if it can be a side effect of any ayurvedic medicine like Kanchanar gugulu or ashwagandha or kumari asava that I am taking? Or is it because of a food ? How can this be treated? Please help 🙏

Mild swelling and fluid accumulation in the fallopian tube, known as hydrosalpinx, can be concerning, especially when trying to conceive. While it's uncommon for Ayurvedic medicines like Kanchanar Guggulu, Ashwagandha, or Kumari Asava to directly cause such symptoms, it's important to consider other possible factors like diet, lifestyle, or underlying health issue. Ayurvedic treatment typically involves identifying and balancing the doshas involved while addressing lifestyle and dietary choices. Focus on balancing Vata and Pitta doshas, which often contribute to inflammation and fluid retention. Start by consuming a warm, cooked diet; avoid raw, cold, and heavy foods that can disrupt your digestive fire, or agni. Incorporate foods rich in anti-inflammatory properties, such as turmeric, ginger, cumin, and cilantro, into your meals. Also, keep hydrating with warm water, which aids in reducing inflammation and flush out toxins. Routine habits like yoga and meditation can greatly help calm your mind and ease stress, supporting the overall treatment process. Practices such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) or gentle poses can particularly help in maintaining reproductive health. Make sure to get adequate rest, as sleep is essential for cellular repair and maintaining the balance of bodily systems. Consider herbal formulations specifically tailored for reproductive health, and if not already consulted, speak with an experienced Ayurvedic practicioner regarding personalized treatment. It's essential to follow-up with your healthcare provider regarding the condition to ensure no medical interventions are necessary. Should you experience alarming symptoms or pain, seek prompt medical assistance – do not delay in reaching out to healthcare professionals for an assessment. Remember, healing takes time; trust the process, but always stay mindful of your body's signals and adjust accordingly!
