No.If vaccination is done then don’t worry.
Please go for anti-rabies vaccine.
Hello I can understand your concern regarding your daughter It is very obvious that you may be worried -As the wound was deep But dont worry as she received all four doses of vaccination and also now the wound is healed ▪️Is there any risk? If you have given full course of vaccination no need to worry Rabies is dangerous only if it is untreated ▪️Crosscheck once You must have given vaccination on 0,3,7 and 14 th day So no need to worry if all doses are given at appropriate time ▪️when to worry? -If she develops fever or fear of water or any behavioural change But as of now post 3 months of bite she has not developed any symptoms so she is safe So dont worry Your daughter is safe😊 Wishing her a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
Is it was a pet dog or street dog ? Did you got her TT and rabies vaccination??
Since you were daughter was bitten by a dog three months ago and the wound has yield and she has received all four doses of the rabies vaccine. There is no further risk of rabies now. If she has had no symptoms like fever, swelling, or unusual behaviour, and then and the vaccination was completed properly, she is considered safe Rupees usually develops within weeks, two months after exposure, so completing the full vaccination schedule is very important for prevent prevention Since she has received all four doses on time, and there are no current symptoms. The chance of developing any problem is extremely low. It is still advisable to keep monitoring our health for any unusual signs and maintain general hygiene and wound care practises for any future injuries Ensure her tetanus vaccination is up to date and avoid contact with stray or unvaccinated animals
