High white blood cell count, known as leukocytosis, can be linked to underlying imbalances in the body’s systems, according to Ayurveda. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition could involve an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which is associated with inflammation. Additionally, the accumulation of Ama (toxins) could be contributing to sluggishness and hindered recovery. To ameliorate these issues, focus on harmonizing your Pitta and clearing Ama.

Dietary adjustments are pivotal. Incorporate cooling foods to pacify Pitta. These include cucumber, cilantro, and coconut water. Avoid spicy, oily, or fermented foods that can aggravate Pitta and exacerbate inflammation. Including herbs like Guduchi or Turmeric in your daily routine can help as they are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. Simply mix a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of warm water and consume it twice daily.

Enhancing Agni, your digestive fire, will help in reducing Ama accumulation. A decoction of ginger and lemon taken before meals can invigorate digestion. To support blood purification, Neem and Manjishta are beneficial. These can be taken as tablets or powders under supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Numbness and nerve-related issues, pointing towards Vata imbalance, can be addressed by tonifying nervous system with oils like Ashwagandha Bala Taila. Regular gentle Abhyanga (self-massage) using this oil can nourish the nerve tissues, improving symptoms like numbness.

Yoga and breathing exercises focusing on calming the mind and reducing stress levels can support overall balance and recovery. Engage in daily Pranayama practices.

It’s essential, however, to consult a healthcare professional for your condition, especially as it involves your nervous system and requires a thorough evaluation. Ayurveda can be supportive but ensuring comprehensive care through complementary approaches is crucial. Don’t delay in seeking professional medical advice, particularly if symptoms worsen or persist.

A high white blood cell count usually indicates an underlying condition that needs to be addressed. From a Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, this can often be related to excess heat or inflammation, potentially an imbalance in Pitta dosha. Addressing this can help reduce inflammation and aid the healing process.

First, incorporate a cooling diet that helps pacify Pitta. Prioritize foods like cucumbers, melons, leafy greens, and coconut, while avoiding hot, spicy, and fried foods. Staying hydrated with water and herbal infusions like coriander or fennel tea can also maintain balance.

Numbness and delayed healing suggest a possible vata imbalance. Applying a warm sesame oil massage daily can enhance circulation and nerve function. Nasya therapy, which involves applying a few drops of warm, herbalized oil like Anu taila in the nostrils, could benefit the nervous system and support respiratory health.

For addressing myelopathy or nerve issues, practices like pranayama and gentle yoga can be beneficial. Bhramari and Anulom Vilom pranayama can help calm nerves, improve circulation and support overall well-being.

It’s crucial to address the plasma imbalance. Including Aloe vera juice and Triphala churna can aid in detoxifying the blood and improve tissue health. Triphala is particularly useful in maintaining digestive health and supporting proper waste elimination.

Given these symptoms, it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional for comprehensive assessment and to rule out any serious conditions. Integrating Siddha-Ayurvedic practices can complement contemporary medical treatments, but timely medical evaluation is essential.
