Thank you sir😇

Paronychia indeed can be pesky with its continuous swelling and discomfort. It seems like you’ve been trying a few things, so let’s see how Ayurveda can be of assistance for your condition. From an Ayurvedic standpoint, such issues usually involve an imbalance in the body’s doshas, especially aggravated Kapha or Pitta leading to inflammation.

Start by applying turmeric paste directly on the affected area. Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Make a fresh paste using a pinch of turmeric powder mixed with a few drops of water, or even better, Aloe Vera gel. Apply it twice a day directly on your toe.

Triphala may be another ally. It’s a profound Ayurvedic formula that helps detoxify and can reduce inflammation. You can take Triphala churna with warm water at night, about a teaspoon should suffice. This also aids digestion, which can have an indirect positive effect on your condition.

Diet also plays a crucial role. Ensure you keep away from inflammatory foods, like processed sugars and fried foods. Include more cooling foods, think cucumber and coconut water, which can help calm that Pitta dosha.

For external application, castor oil can also bring relief. Warm a bit of castor oil and apply it gently over the toe. Its Vata pacifying properties can help with the pain and the swelling as you massage it in gently, perhaps before sleeping.

If discomfort persists though, or it becomes more painful, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider. In cases like this, dealing with infections promptly is essential to prevent complications. Ayurveda can work wonders, but severe infections may need allopathic treatment in conjunction.

Remember: practice consistency, while some of these remedies need time to show their effect. Also, ensure to keep the area clean and dry as much as possible to prevent further infections.
