- Ayurvedic Assessment: Diagnosis: Vicharchika / Visarpa (Herpes zoster) Dosha: Pitta-Kapha Treatment Plan: Oral Medicines: - Guduchi churna 250 mg twice daily after food, 14 days - Avipattikar churna 5 g – once daily before bed with warm water, 14 days - Chandanadi vati 2 tabs twice daily after food, 14 days - Sitopaladi churna with honey 2–3 g twice daily, 10–14 days (for itching, optional) - External Applications: Apply Aloe vera gel or Kumkumadi taila thinly 2–3 times daily Wash area gently with Triphala decoction twice daily Lightly massage around lesions with Neem oil once daily (avoid broken skin) - Diet & Lifestyle: Avoid spicy, sour, oily foods; eat cooling foods like buttermilk and vegetables Drink adequate warm water; avoid excessive sun Rest, avoid stress and scratching, wear light clothing - Follow-up: 7–10 days or sooner if pain worsens or signs of infection appear
