For your daughter’s hyperactivity and speech development, there are several Ayurvedic approaches you could consider. ADHD with hyperactivity often relates to imbalances in the Vata dosha. Bringing harmony back can help improve sitting tolerance and overall calmness.

Khushmanda Ghrita can be helpful, as it is known to support cognitive functions and calm Vata dosha. You can start with a small dosage, like 1/4 spoon, given early in the morning on an empty stomach, mixed with a small amount of warm water. It’s important though, to consult with an Ayurvedic physician before starting any new treatment to ensure its suitability.

In addition to this, dietary changes can be beneficial. Introduce grounding and nourishing foods, particularly those that are warm and unctuous, like ghee. Cooked vegetables and whole grains such as rice and barley can be calming for Vata. Avoid processed and sugary foods which could increase hyperactivity and imbalance her doshas further.

Another thing you can try is Abhyanga - a gentle massage with warm sesame oil before bath. This can help improve circulation and soothe the nervous system. Try doing this 2-3 times a week, along with daily routine timings for meals, sleep, and play to establish a sense of rhythm.

Regarding speech, continuing with speech therapy is vital, but also consider including activities that encourage vocal interaction, such as singing songs and reading simple story books with her.

Before introducing any changes, it’s always a good idea to discuss these with your Ayurvedic practitioner, especially since she is already receiving speech therapy. They can offer a more personalized recommendation considering her unique constitution and current treatments. Keep monitoring her progress regularly.

When considering treating speech and hyperactivity issues in a young child with ADHD, understanding her unique constitution is essential. In the Ayurvedic framework, ADHD is often linked to an imbalance of Vata dosha. Managing this imbalance can support her overall development, including communication.

Khushmanda Ghrit can be beneficial, as it nourishes and supports brain function while also balancing Vata. You can administer a small amount, typically 1/4 to 1/2 tsp daily, but begin with a smaller amount and observe her response. Mix it with warm milk in the morning or evening. Always ensure that any ghee preparation you offer is of high quality—ideally organic and fresh.

Additionally, incorporating a Vata-calming diet may aid in reducing hyperactivity. Focus on warm, nourishing, and unctuous foods, like cooked grains, sweet fruits, and warm milk. Avoid cold, dry, and processed foods, which can aggravate Vata.

A rhythmic daily routine can significantly help manage hyperactivity. Establish regular meal times, playtimes, and bedtimes, providing a sense of stability. Engage her in calming activities too: gentle play, massage with warm sesame oil, and listening to soothing music.

Continue with her speech therapy, and consider consulting with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized advice. While Ayurveda can offer supportive care, ensure coordination with her medical team and therapists.
