Moles and keloids can be challenging, the first stepp is to understand the cause. Moles are usually benign skin growths formed by clusters of melanocytes, while keloids are overgrown scar tissues, resulting from the body’s healing response gone a bit overboard. In Ayurveda, such conditions might be seen as imbalances in the doshas, particularly with pitta and vata. Your constitution might be prone to these imbalances, especially if your skin is sensitive or you observe frequent inflammations.

For moles, an approach can be enhancing the digestive fire or agni which ties back to managing how the body processes toxins. Triphala, a combination of three fruits, is known to help with this. Take it in powder form, about a teaspoon mixed with warm water, before bedtime to support digestion and detoxification.

Keloids can be addressed by focusing on pacifying vata and pitta. Daily application of a medicated oil like neem or turmeric can work wonders here. These oils are cooling and may reduce inflammation and promote even skin tone. Use a few drops, gently massaging into the area for about 5-10 minutes.

Internally, consuming turmeric with warm milk can be beneficial due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Take about a quarter teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of warm milk, preferably in the evening. It can soothe pitta and bolster your immune system.

Avoid scratching or irritating affected areas. Safeguard your skin from harsh conditions, and wear loose-fitting clothes. However, if you notice rapid changes in moles or if keloids become painful, it’s crucial to consult a dermatologist to rule out any severe issues. Safety first, always.

When it comes to dealing with moles and keloids, Ayurveda offers some natural and effective remedies. Moles can be challenging to remove without medical intervention, but certain Ayurvedic treatments may help lessen their appearance. Keloids develop from an imbalance in healing and need careful attention.

For moles, it’s essential to understand they’re benign growths and often don’t require removal unless for cosmetic reasons. Application of a paste made from castor oil and baking soda on moles overnight might gradually lighten them. Also, try applying freshly crushed garlic paste since it’s believed to help in reducing mole size, but be cautious — it might irritate the skin.

Now, regarding keloids, Ayurveda suggests several options. Firstly, you might want to incorporate turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Mix turmeric powder with sandalwood paste and apply it on the keloid area twice daily. Turmeric works by pacifying aggravated doshas and improving skin healing. Neem oil, applied topically, can further assist, as it’s known to boost wound healing and reduce scar tissue.

Addressing moles and keloids also involves stabilizing your body’s doshas. A pitta-pacifying diet, rich in leafy greens, fruits like pomegranate, and cooling herbs such as coriander, may support skin health. Drinking aloe vera juice may also help keep your tissues nourished and prevent excess scarring.

Incorporating yoga and meditation into your routine can further help manage stress, which sometimes affects skin health, leading to excessive scar formation. Practicing deep breathing exercises like pranayama or incorporating a daily meditation practice can help.

Though these remedies are rooted in tradition, it’s critical to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting. This ensures your treatment aligns with your specific body constitution and dosha. If the keloids are extensive or symptomatic, seeking immediate medical advice is crucial.
