Worms, or intestinal parasites, are indeed a challenging issue. When conventional treatment seems ineffective, exploring assessments through the Ayurvedic and Siddha paradigms can help address the root cause of your condition. Your current diet of chai and biscuits suggests we need to bolster your agni, or digestive fire, as a weak digestive system makes it easier for parasites to thrive.

First, consider dietary adjustments. Increase whole foods known to enhance digestion—try incorporating more cooked vegetables and grains like rice in your meals. It’s essential to avoid raw and cold foods, as these can dampen the digestive fire.

From the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, certain herbs can help expel worms and support digestion. Mix ½ teaspoon of Vidanga (Embelia ribes) powder with warm water and consume it before meals, twice daily. It’s well-regarded for its capacity to eliminate intestinal parasites. Neem leaves are also beneficial due to their anthelmintic properties; you might prepare a simple decoction using fresh neem leaves and consume about ½ cup twice a day.

Additionally, include pomegranate juice, as its mild laxative effect can aid in cleansing the gut. Make sure you’re staying hydrated to facilitate elimination of toxins from the body.

A vital consideration is maintaining digestive regularity, key in preventing re-infestation. Daily consumption of Triphala powder in warm water at bedtime can help regulate bowel movements and support digestion.

If the issue persists, seek guidance from an Ayurvedic health practitioner to delve deeper into your doshic balance and overall health considerations. For any concerning or serious symptoms, do consult a healthcare professional immediately. Addressing these factors holistically will likely yield better outcomes in managing and resolving the situation.

To address persistent worm infections, especially if conventional treatments like albendazole haven’t fully resolved the issue, Ayurveda offers a holistic approach. The consistent issue might hint at an imbalance in your digestive environment, which can be supported by Ayurvedic principles. Let’s look closely at some personalized strategies that might assist you.

First, your diet could play a significant role in this scenario. In Ayurveda, a diet lacking in diversity and nourishment can weaken Agni, the digestive fire, which is crucial in maintaining digestive health. Consuming only biscuits and chai might not be providing the necessary nutrients to support your immune system and digestive strength. Consider incorporating freshly cooked meals, including warming spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander. These can help improve digestion and reduce tendencies toward parasite-friendly environments.

Next, try Triphala churna—a famed Ayurvedic formulation, which aids in maintaining digestive health. You might take 1 teaspoon with warm water before bedtime. Also, Vidanga (Embelia ribes) is traditionally used for its antiparasitic properties. A prudent dose can be 1/4 teaspoon twice daily with honey. In turn, Neem and Pomegranate seeds can be excellent for their antiparasitic potential. Consuming a small amount of neem powder with lukewarm water daily can be beneficial.

Besides dietary changes, lifestyle improvements can support physical health. A regular sleep routine and stress management are paramount. Ensure you sleep by 10 PM and wake before sunrise. Regular practice of yoga and pranayama can also enhance body resilience against infections.

Finally, when it comes to persistent health issues, it’s crucial to follow up with healthcare professionals. Given the nature of your ongoing symptoms, don’t hesitate to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner who can perform a deeper assessment, potentially offering specific treatments or panchakarma therapy tailored to your constitution (Prakriti). Ensure any Ayurvedic herbs or interventions align with your current medications to avoid interactions. Remember, patient safety comes first.
