Your situation seems to involve a disturbance primarily concerning your pitta dosha, as suggested by symptoms like acidity, inflammation, and skin eruptions. The treatment with Omnacortil which is a corticosteroid, may have aggravated your pitta and digestive fire. To address this, we need to calm the pitta and soothe the digestive system.

First, let’s address the diet. Avoid citrus fruits, curd, buttermilk, and lemon for now as they seem to be triggering your symptoms. Opt for foods that are cooling and balancing for pitta, such as fresh vegetables, rice, and sweet fruits like melons.

Include more bitter and astringent tastes in your diet. You may find neem leaves beneficial; chewing a few fresh leaves daily can help detoxify the body and clear pitta from the system. Alternatively, neem powder mixed with water can be consumed.

For immediate relief from acidity, cooled natural substances like aloe vera juice or tender coconut water, taken on an empty stomach, could be beneficial. Aloe vera juice can be consumed about 30 ml once daily in the morning.

Focus on your internal balance by incorporating triphala, an Ayurvedic formulation that helps balance all three doshas, support the digestive system, and cleanse the body. Taken at night with warm water, it can be beneficial.

Topically, you might find applying a paste made from sandalwood powder and rosewater to be soothing for the itching and redness. Let it remain for 15-20 minutes before washing off with cool water.

Do evaluate if any other medication or supplement you’re taking could be contributing to the condition. Siddha-Ayurvedic practices recommend a holistic approach, and understanding all factors involved is critical for effective treatment.

If the symptoms persist or worsen, consultation with a health professional is important to rule out any serious underlying conditions. In cases where inflammation is severe, it would be prudent to ensure no other medication interactions or health issues are at play.

Remember, balance is the key in Ayurveda. By aligning your diet and daily practices with your dosha needs, you can often promote deeper healing and prevent recurrences of such discomforts.

The issue you are experiencing could be related to an imbalance of Pitta dosha, which governs digestion, metabolism, and transformation in Ayurveda. When Pitta is aggravated, it can lead to symptoms like high acidity, skin irritations and sensitivity to certain foods. Let’s address this with a comprehensive ayurvedic approach focused on balancing Pitta.

First, consider avoiding foods and substances that are known to aggravate Pitta, including citrus fruits, fermented foods like curd and buttermilk, as you’ve noticed sensitivity. Instead, focus on incorporating Pitta-pacifying foods into your diet. These include sweet, bitter, and astringent taste foods, such as cucumber, melons, sweet potatoes, cilantro, and green leafy vegetables. Cooked meals are more soothing for your digestive system than raw, especially when you’re dealing with high acidity.

In Ayurveda, herbs like Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Neem (Azadirachta indica), and Aloe Vera are revered for their cooling and Pitta-balancing properties. You can consider consuming Guduchi in powder or tablet form. Neem can be used topically on skin irritation, using neem-based lotion or oil, for its soothing effects.

Ensure you maintain regular meal times and avoid late-night eating, as this can further exacerbate Pitta. Drinking sufficient water throughout day also helps in flushing out toxins. Opt for room temperature or slightly cool water, not cold.

Practicing calming activities like deep-breathing or meditation can help rebalance your entire system. Yoga poses like Shavasana offer mind and body relaxation.

If your symptoms persist despite following these suggestions, it’s important to consult an ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized assessment, as it’s crucial to make sure there’s no underlying condition that needs immediate attention. If the reaction becomes severe or your condition worsens, it is essential to seek professional medical care immediately.
