HELLO ,
WHY SKIN LOOKS DULL= your body’s vata (dryness, weakness) and Pitta (heat, acne, marks) are imbalanced. Because your digestion is not very strong and sleep is irregular, the skin is not getting proper nourishment.
WHY ACNE SCARS STAY= Acne is caused when pitta (heat + toxins in blood) gets aggravated. After pimples heal, they leave behind marks because the skin cells are not repairing fast enough due to low nourishment (vata imbalance)
WHY YOU HAVE DARK CIRCLES -Irregular sleep= Vata aggravation -Low weight= weakness in blood -Stress and eye strain= circulation around eyes becomes poor
So, your skin issues are not just on the outside-they come from inside imbalances, mainly vata + pitta + weak nouirshment
TREATMENT GOALS -Improve digestion and nourishment so your body can build healthy skin tissue -Purify blood and cool down pitta to prevent acne and marks -Balance vata to reduce dryness, dark circles, and improve sleep -Rejuvenate skin externally with oils, packs, and gentle care -adopt lifestyle and yoga to support stress free, regular routine

AVOID -spicy, oily, fried, junk food -too much tea, coffee, or cola causes dark circles, dryness -skipping meals or eating very late at night -cold,dry, stale foods- increases dryness
LIFESTYLE -sleep= aim for 7-8 hours, ideally before 11 pm -Hydration= warm water throughout the day -Oil massage= once or twice a week with sesame oil for full body
YOGA (20-30 min daily) -suryanamaskar= blood circulation, glow -bhujangasana, sarvangasana= for facial glow, blood supply -balasana= stress relief

For dry and dull skin, Ayurveda suggests looking at your prakriti and probable imbalances in the body’s doshas. Pitta and Vata imbalances can often be at play with these symptoms. Begin by incorporating a wholesome diet rich in hydrating and nourishing foods. Eat more sweet, unctuous, and cooling food like cucumbers, sweet fruits like pears and berries, and ghee. Adequate hydration is essential, so drinking lukewarm water throughout the day can help promote circulation and hydration at a cellular level.
Applying a facemask made of honey and rose water can be beneficial. Mix one tablespoon of honey with two teaspoons of rose water, apply it to clean skin, and leave for 15-20 minutes before gently washing off with lukewarm water. This combination helps in soothing the skin and imparting a from glow, due to honey’s antibacterial properties and rose water’s anti-inflammatory effects.
For mild acne and marks, applying a paste of sandalwood powder and rose water can provide relief. Sandalwood acts as a natural astringent, helping to balance oil production, while rose water helps to cool and calm the skin. Apply this paste nightly, and leave it on overnight to help reduce inflammation and lighten marks over time.
Regarding dark circles, cool cucumber slices or soaked green tea bags can give relief. Place them on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. Potatoes contain catecholase, an enzyme known for skin-lightening. Grate a potato, extract the juice, and apply it around the eyes a few times a week, allowing it to dry before rinsing gently.
Practicing daily self-massage (abhyanga) using warm sesame oil, or a blend of almond and coconut oil can improve circulation and support skin health. Similarly, maintaining a regular sleep schedule, avoiding screens before bed, and managing stress through yoga or mindful meditation could assist in balancing your hormones which in turn affect skin health. Remember, lead a balanced lifestyle for best results, as Ayurveda sees the mind, body and routine as interconnected.
Don’t worry take arogya vardini vati 1tab bd, nalpamaradi tail external application, kukumadhitail external application enough
To address your skin concerns using Siddha-Ayurvedic principles, consider a multi-pronged approach focusing on balancing the doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata, which are likely contributing to your skin issues. Acne and dull skin often arise from imbalances in these areas. Begin by addresssing your diet, which plays a fundamental role in skin health. Consume cooling, hydrating foods like cucumbers, watermelon, and coconut water to soothe Pitta dosha and include healthy fats like ghee and olive oil for Vata.
For a topical approach, try a simple turmeric and honey mask. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with enough honey to form a paste. Apply this to your face, leaving it for about 15 minutes before rinsing. Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties combined with honey’s natural humectant effect can reduce inflammation and moisturize, potentially lightening acne marks over time.
To tackle stubborn dark circles, soak cotton pads in cold rose water, placing them over your eyes for 10-15 minutes daily. Rose water has cooling properties that can refresh tired eyes and help reduce discoloration. Additionally, applying an under-eye oil massage using almond oil before bed can provide further nourishment and encourage circulation.
Introduce a short facial massage routine with sesame oil, focusing on upward strokes, for improved blood flow and rejuvenation. Avoid hot showers and harsh soaps, as they can aggravate dryness and disrupt the natural skin barrier. Ensure a routine sleep schedule and manage stress through practices like yoga or meditation, as they can greatly affect skin health.
Stay mindful of seasonal changes, adjusting your skin care and diet accordingly. If issues persist or worsen, consider consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized, deeper insights aligned to your unique body constitution.
