High frequency urination at night, along with heaviness in the testicles, may point toward doshic disturbance, particularly Vata and Kapha. A disrupted Vata can cause frequent urination, while Kapha imbalance might manifest as heaviness. Here’s a practical approach using ayurvedic principles to address the root causes of these symptoms.

First, assess your diet and lifestyle. Begin by reducing intake of cold drinks, caffeinated beverages, sugar, and processed foods which can aggravate imbalances. Focus on warm, easily digestible foods like soups, stews, and porridges—this nurtures Agni, the digestive fire, and balances Vata.

Before sleep, try drinking a cup of warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg and a teaspoon of ghee. This combination supports both Vata and Kapha by calming the nervous system and enabling better sleep. Ensure your dinner is light, preferably eaten by 7 pm to allow digestion before bedtime.

Incorporate Ashwagandha and Gokshura into your routine. These herbs can be consumed in powder (churna) form, half a teaspoon twice a day with warm water. They help in strengthening the tissues (dhatus) and reduce issues like heaviness in testicles.

Practicing yoga and light exercise during the day can help balance energies. Asanas such as Pavanamuktasana and Baddha Konasana can improve circulation in pelvic region, offering relief from heaviness. Meditation and Pranayama, especially Nadi Shodhana, are excellent for calming Vata dosha.

Drink warm water throughout the day and avoid excessive consumption close to bedtime. This will help reduce the frequency of urination at night.

Since the symptoms persist for over two months, it’s crucial to consult a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation to rule out conditions like urinary tract infections or possible prostate issues.
