I am feeling really concerned because for the past few weeks, I keep feeling like something is stuck in my throat, and I can’t figure out what’s going on. I mean, it started out kinda mild, like just a weird sensation, but now it’s bothering me a lot. Sometimes it feels like a lump, or maybe it’s just tightness? I don’t know, but it’s making me anxious. I’ve tried drinking water, herbal teas, and even chewing gum, but nothing seems to help! I went to my doctor, and they didn’t find anything serious, just some mild inflammation, so now they just told me to keep an eye on it. But that’s the thing—I am not sure what I should be doing to make this feeling go away! It’s like every time I eat, I can’t enjoy my food because I’m just freakin' worried about this weird sensation. Why do I feel something is stuck in my throat all the time? Is it maybe an imbalance or something related to my diet? I’ve been stressed lately too, could that be a part of it? I really want to find a natural remedy or some Ayurvedic tips that might help. Anyone have any suggestions? 🤔

Also, turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties could further combat the mild tenderness around the area.

In terms of stress, consider adopting a daily breathing practice — Pranayama. Start with Nadi Shodhana, an alternate nostril breathing exercise known to balance the body’s energies and calm the mind. Practice for 5-10 minutes each morning. Yoga Asanas like Cat-Cow or Simhasana (Lion Pose) could also ease throat tightness due to their focus on breath and openness in the throat region.

Finally, Triphala, a time-honored herbal formulation in Ayurveda, is valuable for maintaining digestive health — a common denominator in issues with throat sensations. Take it at bedtime with warm water. However, since you’re already experiencing anxiety and stress, ensure your diet is supportive of Vata balance, and keep hydration adequate.
