why fungal infection on skin - #37588
I am really struggling with this annoying skin issue. For the past few weeks, I’ve noticed these weird patches appearing on my arms and legs. At first, I thought it was just a rash or something, but after doing some digging, I think it might be a fungal infection on my skin. The spots are itchy and flaky, plus they kinda look like they have a ring around them? Ugh, it’s so frustrating, especially when I want to wear short sleeves! I looked up stuff online to see why fungal infection on skin is even a thing, and it said something about warm, damp environments or even weak immunity might be factors? Which makes sense coz I’ve been super stressed lately and, honestly, probably not taking great care of myself. I mean, I don’t really know much about fungal infections, and this whole situation has got me worried. Could eating certain foods help fight it? Or do I just need a super strong ointment? Why fungal infection on skin happens in the first place, and what can I do to avoid it in the future? I hope it doesn’t get worse. Like, could it spread to my kids or anything? I feel lost and could really use some advice! Thanks in advance!
