To address heavy menstrual bleeding and the condition of a bulky uterus from an Ayurvedic perspective, it’s essential to focus on balancing the doshas, especially Kapha and Pitta, and supporting uterine health. First, Dahasodhaka Arishta might be beneficial—it helps in reducing Pitta and managing bleeding. Taking 15-20 ml twice a day, after meals, could help. It’s important to discuss this with your physician to ensure it complements any ongoing treatments.

Try Asoka Ghrita or Asoka Arishta, named after the Ashoka tree renowned in Ayurveda for gynecological issues. This can be taken 20 ml after meals, twice daily; it may support reducing excessive bleeding and strengthen uterine muscles. Shatavari, considered revered for female reproductive health, can help nourish and balance hormones. Capsule or powder form is useful, about 1-2 capsules morning and evening, with warm milk or water.

Dietary adjustments are crucial – avoid spicy, sour and oily foods that aggravate Pitta and interfere with digestion or Agni, which is critical in Ayurveda. Focus on warm, cooked meals. Include turmeric in your diet, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Take a pinch of turmeric with warm water daily.

Lifestyle modifications are needed as well. Stress management through yoga and pranayama, especially practices like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari, can help maintain hormonal balance and regulate menstrual cycles. Try to maintain a routine with a focus on sound sleep and moderate exercise to manage weight and support the digestive process.

If bleeding persists, it’s vital to keep an open communication with your healthcare provider, as excessive menstrual bleeding can lead to anemia and other complications that require immediate medical attention. An integrative approach, combining Ayurveda with ongoing conventional treatments might be the most balanced way forward.

Considering your symptoms of prolonged heavy bleeding and uterine lining issues, from an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition may be related to imbalances in pitta dosha, which regulates blood flow and hormones. Your prakriti (body constitution) and current lifestyle must be analyzed to develop an appropriate course of action.

Firstly, shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) can be effective in balancing hormones and regulating menstrual cycles. You can take 1 teaspoon of shatavari powder with warm milk twice daily. Additionally, ashokarishta is a classical Ayurvedic remedy for menstrual issues. Take 2 tablespoons with equal amount of water after meals.

To address excessive bleeding, cool and astringent herbal decoctions may be helpful. Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) is known for its hemostatic properties. Prepare a decoction by boiling 1 teaspoon of the bark in 2 cups water, reduce to one cup and drink it twice a day.

Dietary modifications are key; prefer cooling and pacifying foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, and avoid spicy, acidic items. Drink plenty of coriander seed water (soak overnight in water and consume in the morning) to further help calm pitta.

Engage in regular exercise that suits your body type, focusing on low-impact activities like walking or yoga to support weight loss and manage stress. However, if the bleeding continues despite these measures, it’s crucial to follow up with a healthcare professional to ensure there isn’t a more serious underlying condition. Don’t delay in seeking immediate care if symptoms worsen or don’t improve, as prolonged bleeding may have significant health implications.
