How can I restore my iron levels naturally? I have anemia (I am a vegetarian), in peri-menopause but still have heavy menstrual bleeding which depletes my iron and HB. I do drink supplements and try to eat food rich in iron but my iron stays low. Had a gastroscopy down as I had a stomach ulcer 2 years ago and that the ulcer has healed. Struggling every now and then with acid reflux

1) LOW AGNI- WEAK DIGESTION -your digestion is not breaking down food properly -even if you eat iron rich foods, your body cannot absorb the iron This matches your reflux, heavy feeling after meals, and low iron despite supplements

2) PITTA IMBALANCE- Heat in the blood -pitta govern blood -when pitta increases –periods become heavier –you lose more blood each cycle –reflux and acidity worsen
