Doctors' responses

Addressing your concerns of painful deep pimples and boils requires us to look at it from a Pitta-based perspective in Ayurveda. When Pitta is imbalanced, it often manifests through skin eruptions like acne and boils. Typically, this imbalance may be aggravated by stress, spicy or oily foods, and lifestyle factors.

1. Dietary Adjustments: Focus on Pitta-pacifying foods. Incorporate more cooling, hydrating foods like cucumbers, melons, leafy greens. Consume plenty of water to help flush out toxins. Avoid spicy, fried, and processed foods as they can aggravate Pitta. You may try drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day with a pinch of turmeric to support detoxification.

2. Herbal Remedies: Consider using herbal formulations like Triphala, which helps cleanse the body of toxins while supporting healthy digestion, which is crucial both for your skin and for weight management. Take 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water before bedtime.

3. External Application: For your skin, applying pastes made of sandalwood or rose water can help reduce inflammation and cooling the skin. A paste of turmeric and honey can also be used on boils, helping them heal faster due to their antibacterial properties. Apply it and leave for 20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

4. Lifestyle Modifications: Incorporate daily exercise like walking or yoga, targeting at least 30 minutes per day, which can significantly assist in weight loss. Stress management techniques like meditation or pranayama should be a part of your daily routine, as these can greatly help in balancing your doshas.

5. Immediate Considerations: Given that you are experiencing recurring boils, especially those that are pus-filled, it would be prudent to consult a healthcare professional to evaluate these issues closely. There might be a bacterial infection or other underlying condition requiring attention.

For sustained results, consistent lifestyle and dietary changes alongside regular monitoring are necessary. 지속적으로 생활과 식단을 조정하고 규칙적으로 모니터링이 필요합니다.

The painful deep pimples and recurring boils you’re experiencing might be linked to imbalances in the body’s doshas, particularly an excess of pitta, along with any kapha disturbance due to excess weight. This can lead to the accumulation of toxins in the blood, impacting skin health. Begin by addressing dietary habits—favor fresh, cooling foods like cucumbers, watermelon, and green leafy vegetables to help balance pitta. Avoid spicy, fried, or greasy foods, which can aggravate skin issues.

Incorporate regular chirata (Swertia chirayita) or neem powder in your diet, as these are known in Siddha-Ayurveda for their blood-purifying properties. Taking 1/4 teaspoon of neem powder with warm water in the morning can potentially help. Remember, maintaining your skin’s cleanliness but gently; avoid harsh soaps that strip natural oils.

For the boils, apply a turmeric paste made by mixing turmeric powder with a little water, as turmeric has natural antiseptic properties that might aid healing. Ensure your clothing is breathable, reducing moisture build-up that allows boils to thrive. Practice yoga and brisk walking to manage weight and bolster circulation—focus on consistency rather than intensity.

For weight loss, balance kapha by consuming light, warm meals. Opt for smaller portions, drink lukewarm water, and include ginger or black pepper to aid digestion. Regular fasting days, where you consume only clear liquids and fruits, can also be a strategy to reduce kapha.

Since these conditions can harbor infection risks, consider consulting a healthcare provider to rule out any deeper systemic conditions needing immediate attention. It’s vital to integrate both traditional and modern medical approaches responsibly to support comprehensive healing.
