Hello Neha, PCOS according to Ayurveda is an imbalance in the Agni (metabolic apparatus of the body ) & the kapha , Vata Dosha. You haven’t mentioned about your weight & status of your stools. Overall the management has to be Kapha reducing foods & lifestyle. 1. Avoid excessive heavy oily fried processed food especially around ovulation. 2. Avoid sedentary lifestyle. 3. Exercise atleast 1 hour daily. Surya namaskar is recommended. Aerobic exercise, Swimming & Jogging can be practiced too. 4. Castor oil abdominal packs everyday before bath to be practiced religiously. 5. Include seeds like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds in the diet regular. 6. Drink water boiled with coriander seeds & dry ginger starting from 15 days before periods. Do consult me for further guidance. PCOS can be reversed in 3-6 months completely with Ayurvedic management. Please consult an Ayurvedic fertility doctor for further guidance.

To enhance your chances of conception while managing PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Disease), it's important to adopt a holistic approach that includes dietary modifications, lifestyle changes, and Ayurvedic treatments. Begin by focusing on a balanced diet rich in whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and excessive carbohydrates, as these can exacerbate insulin resistance associated with PCOD. In Ayurveda, certain herbs can support reproductive health and hormonal balance. Consider incorporating Ashwagandha, which can help reduce stress and improve fertility, and Shatavari, known for its benefits in female reproductive health. Maintaining a healthy weight through regular exercise can also significantly improve your symptoms and increase your chances of conception. Incorporate activities like yoga and moderate aerobic exercises into your routine. To address the pain in your legs and irregular menstrual cycles, it may be beneficial to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized treatments, which may include specific herbal formulations, dietary recommendations, and lifestyle adjustments tailored to your individual constitution. Additionally, stress management techniques, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises, can support overall wellness and hormonal balance. Regular monitoring of your condition and open communication with your healthcare provider are essential for effectively managing PCOD and improving fertility.
