Thank you! I have sent an email. I appreciate your advice but I need ongoing guidance at a very fundamental level in all aspects of my life now. Until I can regain balance. Dosha determination. Routine. Diet. I hope the team gets back to me. Thank you for trying to help me. I wil buy the products and try to start with that. Blessings to you!

Alwz welcome,

Let me help u first to understand -

In Your condition - VATA (severely aggravated) With secondary Pitta disturbance.

👉 Main Goal is Vata-shamana

Daily Routine - Morning Wake up same time daily (even if tired) Sit up in bed → 5 slow breaths Warm water (plain or with a few drops of ghee) ❌ No rushing, no news, no phone scrolling early

- Daytime Eat meals at fixed times Gentle walking or sunlight (10–15 min) One small task at a time (no multitasking)

- Evening Light dinner before sunset or early night Dim lights Warm shower or foot oil massage (sesame oil), avoid bathing in winter in evening

- Bedtime Same sleep window daily Warm milk (if tolerated) Quiet, dark, safe environment Routine = medicine for Vata.

Diet to Calm Mind & Nerves (Vata-pacifying)

Warm, cooked, soft foods Rice, oats, khichdi Soups, stews Cooked vegetables (pumpkin, carrot, squash) Ghee, sesame oil Warm milk Sweet, grounding tastes

Avoid or reduce Cold food & drinks Raw salads Skipping meals Excess caffeine Dry, packaged, processed foods

Eat slowly. Warmth and regularity matter more than variety.

- Mental Support One quiet ritual daily (even 5 minutes) Gentle music, chanting, or silence Contain grief: allow it once daily, not all day

✨✨ Ayurveda can support balance, but your symptoms show long-standing nervous system overload. Please combine this internal medicine too for better results That is strength, not defeat.

After 15-20 days u can add panchakarma therapy - Shirodhara with sheerbala taila under supervision via nearby panchkarma centre.

Hope it will meet your expectations

You are experiencing a long-standing imbalance of the nervous system caused by repeated emotional stress, losses, instability, and isolation.

From an Ayurvedic view, this is mainly a severe Vata dosha aggravation affecting the mind (Prana Vata), with some emotional heat (Pitta) from prolonged struggle and grief.

Because of this: The mind stays in fear and overthinking The body stays in survival mode Motivation, sleep, and hope feel drained Anxiety attacks happen automatically Grief surfaces suddenly and intensely - This is not a weakness, not a personality flaw, and not a failure. - It is a treatable condition caused by overload and lack of stability.

What your system needs most is: Safety Regular routine Warm, nourishing food Emotional support Gentle calming therapies With proper care (Ayurveda + mental health support), balance, clarity, and calm can return gradually.

Your nervous system is currently in a state of severe exhaustion, leading to that feeling of a nervous breakdown. You are experiencing a depletion of vital energy, which causes the lack of motivation and the survival mode feeling. We need to stabilize your nervous system and rebuild your mental resilience.

Prescription (To Stabilize the Mind) 1. Ashwagandha (Winter Cherry) Dose: 1 teaspoon powder or 1 capsule twice daily with Warm milk (dairy or almond) with a pinch of Cardamom. This herb provides the strength to keep standing. It is an adaptogen that repairs nervous system burnout and reduces the frequency of panic attacks.

2. Medicated Ghee with Bacopa (Brahmi Ghee) Dose: 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach in the morning with warm water. This is a potent brain tonic. It nourishes the brain tissue to restore clarity and promote peace of mind.

3. Spikenard (Jatamansi) Usage: If you have panic attacks or cannot sleep, take 1 tablet of Spikenard or drink tea made from it. It is a powerful natural sedative that grounds the nervous system instantly.

When the mind is chaotic, Routine is the medicine. Do not try to do everything. Just do these two things: 1. The Morning Sun: Force yourself to step outside for 10 minutes before 9:00 AM. Sunlight dispels lethargy and resets your biological clock/circadian rhythm.

2. Warm Oil Massage: Before a shower, apply warm Sesame Oil to your feet and head. Your skin is the sensor of the nervous system. Oiling it creates a shield against the external environment and calms the nervous breakdown feeling.

Dietary Choices (Comfort & Grounding) You need Comfort Food that is physically healing. Eat: Warm, soupy, and soft foods. Rice and Lentil Stew, Oatmeal, Vegetable Stews, Sweet Potatoes. The Magic Ingredient: Clarified Butter (Ghee). Add 1 teaspoon to every meal. It lubricates the dry channels of the mind and improves cognitive function. Avoid: Raw salads, cold smoothies, coffee (a major trigger for anxiety), and dry crackers. These increase instability in your system.

Keeping the ashes by your bed shows deep love, but holding the physical remains too close can stagnate your own emotional energy. Suggestion is When you feel strong enough, consider a small ritual to disperse a pinch of them in a plant or a river, returning them to nature. This acts as a release for your own heart. Please, if the darkness feels unsafe, do not hesitate to call a local crisis line. You are valuable and your animals need you.

HELLO,

From what you’ve shared, this looks like a long-standing depressive disorder with anxiety and mood instability, now worsened by recent personal stressors. This means: -Your mind has been under strain for a long time, not just recently -Emotional regulation systems are overloaded -The brain’s chemicals that support motivation, calmness, sleep, and joy are out of balance -Stress has reduced your ability to “self-correct” emotionally This is not weakness, not lack of willpower, and not something you caused

In depression and anxiety: -Neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, GABA become dysregulated -The stress axis (HPA axis) stays overactive -The mind remains in threat/survival mode -Over time, thinking becomes cloudy, rigid, pessimistic, or exhausted

That’s why: -Motivation drops -Small tasks feel heavy -Thoughts loop -Mood swings happen -Sleep and appetite change

In Ayurveda, your symptoms relate mainly to imbalance in:

1. Vata Dosha (Primary) -Governs mind, nerves, movement, thoughts -When disturbed → anxiety, fear, racing thoughts, mood swings, insomnia

2. Tamas (Mental Quality) -Excess tamas → heaviness, sadness, withdrawal, hopelessness

3. Rajas (Mental Agitation) -Excess rajas → restlessness, irritability, emotional turbulence

Condition may be described as: -Vata-pradhan Manas Rog -With Tamo-Rajo vriddhi -Often associated with Manovaha srotas dushti

This explains: -Long duration -Trigger by routine changes -Partial response to earlier Ayurvedic management

Treatment Goals (Very Important) Treatment is not only symptom suppression.

Short-term goals -Emotional safety -Reduce intensity of anxiety and depressive depth -Improve sleep and appetite -Reduce mental overload

Medium-term goals -Stabilize mood swings -Improve clarity of thought -Increase emotional resilience -Restore interest and engagement

Long-term goals -Prevent relapse -Restore inner balance (sattva) -Strengthen mind’s coping ability -Reduce dependency on emergency interventions

Internal Treatment

1) .Saraswatarishta= 15ml twice daily after meals with warm water = used for axnxiety, fatigue and mental clarity

2) Brahmi Vati = 1 tab at night =Releieves anxiety, racing thoughts, emotional instability

3) Jatamansi Capsules= 1 chapati bedtime only after meals with milk = For deep anxietyand insomnia

4) Manasmitra vatakam= 1 tab twice daily after meals =antidepressant

2. External TREATMENT

-Abhyanga (oil massage) – pacifies Vata with warm sesame oil daily -Nasya – supports mental clarity- instill 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning -Shiro abhyanga – helps anxiety and sleep head massage with Brahmi oil every 2nd day before sleep

Why yoga helps Yoga: —Regulates autonomic nervous system —Reduces cortisol —Improves oxygenation —Reconnects body and mind gently

Asanas -Sukhasana -Vajrasana -Balasana -Shavasana

Pranayama -Anulom Vilom – balances nervous system -Bhramari – reduces anxiety and agitation -Deep diaphragmatic breathing

Avoid: -Forceful breathing -Excess Kapalbhati during anxiety -Overexertion

Diet -Warm, freshly cooked food -Easily digestible meals -Slightly oily foods (Vata pacifying) -Regular meal times

Reduce or avoid -Excess caffeine -Very cold foods -Skipping meals -Highly processed food -Alcohol (very important) Diet supports medicine but cannot replace it in deep depression.

Simple Home Supportive Measures -Warm oil massage to scalp before bath (2–3x/week) -Evening digital detox -Soft music or mantra listening -Exposure to morning sunlight -Simple routine (not rigid, but consistent)

Important Reality Check (Very Honest) -Ayurveda can help deeply, but not instantly -Healing is gradual and layered -Crisis phase may need integrated support -No shame in needing more than one system of medicine -Stopping treatment early often causes relapse

You are not broken.
You are overloaded and exhausted after years of silent struggle. Needing help is not failure — it is wisdom. With: -Right guidance -Regular support -Patience -Consistency Balance, clarity, and emotional peace can return.

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

Hello Thanks for opening up to me with something so personal. From what you’ve shared, it’s clear you’re going through a lot, but it also shows how sensitive, deep, and strong you are.

Don’t think you’re weak at all. It sounds like you’ve been carrying a lot of emotional weight for a long time without enough help.

First off, let me be super clear:

–It makes total sense that you’re feeling this way considering everything you’ve been through.

–This doesn’t mean you’re damaged, without hope, or can’t be helped.

Let’s be real for a sec:

From what you’re saying, this isn’t just a bad mood or stress.

It sounds like you’ve been dealing with depression, grief, feeling alone, and anxiety for a while.

Some things you mentioned that stand out:

–Not wanting to get out of bed –Constant problems popping up –Pulling away from people –Really sad about losing your pets –Feeling like you’re just getting by, not really living –Feeling disconnected from others and the future –Sometimes crying uncontrollably –These are serious, but they can be treated. Plenty of people who felt just like this have been able to find stability, feel more connected, and even be happy again – it takes time, but it’s possible.

You need a A therapist Or a helpline in your area Or at least one person you trust to talk to This isn’t a sign of failing. It’s like basic first aid for your feelings.

About missing your animal friends:

What you’re feeling isn’t too much or weird. For many people who are sensitive, pets are like: –Family –Something to rely on –A source of love that doesn’t judge –Losing them can be really hard, like losing a child or partner.

Keeping their ashes close shows: –You loved them a lot –You had a real with them –You’re capable of loving strongly –But if grief sticks around for years, it can turn into depression and drain you.

The goal isn’t to forget them. –The goal is to remember them without being stuck in pain. –What you need now (more than anything): –Not to be hard on yourself. Not to get more done. –Not to think positive.

You need: –To feel secure –To be gentle with yourself –To calm your nerves –To connect with people (even in small ways) –A simple daily routine (for now) –Don’t worry about big plans. Just focus on this:

Morning (no matter what)

–Wake up around the same time every day (even if you’re tired) –Have a warm drink (tea, water, soup) –Go outside for 10 minutes of sunlight –One thing for your body –Every day, do one of these:

–Take a slow walk –Stretch –Do some gentle yoga –Or just sit in the sun with your pets –One thing with people

Even if it’s small:

–Join an online group –Talk to a therapist –Chat with a helpline –Message one person every day –Depression gets worse when you’re alone and things are chaotic.

Feeling better starts with getting into a rhythm and connecting with others.

Food to help your mood (keep it simple)

Your brain needs consistency, not strict diets.

✅Try to eat: –Warm foods –Soups, stews –Rice, oats, veggies –Eggs, beans, fish (if you eat them) –Olive oil

❌Try to avoid: –Skipping meals –Too much caffeine –Alcohol –Only eating cold or raw food –Food won’t fix depression, but not eating well can make anxiety much worse.

Some gentle help (if you want)

There are some things people use for emotional tiredness: Honestly: These can help a bit. Connecting with others is more helpful.

I need to say something:

You said: –I was born with goodwill, enthusiasm, and above average intelligence. –That person is still in there. –Depression doesn’t erase who you are – it just covers it up with pain and tiredness.

The fact that you:

Care for animals Can express how you feel Want peace, clarity, trust, meaning …means you’re still you, just worn out and hurting.

Please think about this:

What you’re dealing with is too much to handle alone.

Even the strongest, kindest people struggle when: –Grief isn’t dealt with –There’s no place to feel safe –There’s no emotional safety –Loss keeps happening –That’s when therapy is super important.

Not because you’re sick, but because no one is built to survive alone when things are constantly bad.

You’re a person who feels deeply and has been in survival mode for too long. The fact that you’re still caring for animals, still wanting peace, still asking for help – that’s not giving up. That’s a quiet kind of hope.

And hope doesn’t mean being positive all the time. It means: Something in me still wants things to be different. That part of you is worth protecting. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Hello thanks for sharing. Seriously, what you’re dealing with is a lot, and feeling shaken is totally normal.

You’ve basically:

–Moved countries –Ended up in a freezing, dark place –Suddenly been in the hospital –Lost all your usual food, routine, and sunlight –Are away from your pets –And now you’re on meds you usually avoid

That’s not just one thing – it’s like five huge things all at once! Even someone super tough would struggle.

So listen to this: Feeling this way doesn’t mean you’re weak or failing. Your body is just overloaded.

This mix leads straight to:

–Anxiety –Restlessness –Feeling fragile –No appetite –Feeling lost and unsure

This is a short-term crisis, not a permanent problem.

What you can actually do while you’re in the hospital

Even without special stuff or control over your meals, you still have three awesome tools right now:

1. Breathing (super important)

A few times a day: Breathe in slowly through your nose Breathe out slowly for longer (Like count to 4 breathing in, and 6 to breathe out)

This calms your nerves and cuts down on panic. Even just 5 minutes helps a lot.

2.MILD EXERCISE

What you’re already planning is great: –Walking around –Taking the stairs, if you can –Stretching gently in your room

Moving around stops you from:

–Getting stuck in your head –Looping thoughts –Having broken sleep

3. GET AS MUCH LIGHT AS YOU CAN

Even winter light helps. Just stand near the windows when it’s daytime. Your brain needs light to keep your mood and sleep on track.

About the antibiotics and painkillers

From a simple standpoint: They might mess with: –Your gut –Your sleep –How you’re feeling

You lost: Everything that felt familiar What made you feel safe Your daily habits

Your pets are super important for keeping you calm. Being away from them during this is like losing your footing. So feeling sad, scared, and missing them isn’t weird.

It’s because you’re attached to them! When you get back home When you can get to them again, these three things will help a ton:

–Some warm ghee every day –Raw honey in the morning –Regular meal times

No need for anything complicated at first.

About seeing a specialist It’s a plus that you reached out. But don’t feel like you need to fix everything right away.

Right now, your body needs: To feel safe Warmth A routine You being present, in the moment

Not trying to be perfect.

What’s happening is just a shock to your system from everything changing, not a permanent mental thing.

A small thing to try tonight Before bed: Put one hand on your chest and one on your stomach.

Quietly say to yourself: I’m safe right now. This won’t last forever.

Do it for a few minutes. This helps calm down the fear part of your brain.

Thank you for your kindness and goodwill. I appreciate it. Some of the remedies recommended by doctors here I can only employ when I get back home. I am in hospital because of a cat bite. I have been here for days now and will be several more, which has made my mental health condition worse. Bright lights. Cold clinical environment. And away from my animal companions.Someone, not me, is looking after them. I haven’t used allopsthic medication for many years but now I am on antibiotic and pain medication. My sleep pattern is interrupted. It is winter in Finland. Very very cold. And there is no sun. I rehomed to Finland two weeks ago and just after that the cat bite. Rehoming alone was emotionally challenging. I do not control what I eat in hospital. And after moving tp Finland my routine and diet was disturbed. I cannot find farm milk that I love here and that pacified me. I do have lots of quality ghee but not at the hospital. I have raw honey at my new home as well. I will try walking along the corridors of the hospital or up and down the stairs. I will try to buy the remedies recommended. Not easily available in Europe. I am searching. I have writteh to Ask Ayurveda and messaged them to get in contact with an Ayurveda specialist who can coach me ongoing as long as needed. I have not heard back yet. I hope they will. Blessings to you!! 🙏

Dear Sir I have lost my way spiritually. It is like, I had a big colourful baloon of spirituality inside me and it has gone flat. Not sure how to find my way back. Somehow I cannot grasp for it now. Depression and other disorders related to the mind can only be treated when you make up ur mind to get rid of them. ❌ Try and avoid the trigger factors as much possible. Anxiety is a state of mind which you can surely control by altering your thoughts… Just note the patterns n timings of the feeling and make yourself busy in that time… If you have nothing to do at that time simple do some physical activity or go for a walk or if it is possible for you concentrate on your breath(which most of the people find difficult to do) 🧘‍♀️ Anulomvilom and Bhramari Pranayam will help. But you have to do it early in the morning only. ❌ Donot get yourself into any addictions. ❌ Donot drink tea or coffee or aerated drinks. ❌ Reduce screen time… No screen in darkness and 1 hour before you sleep. Consume audio form of data rather than visuals before you sleep. Filter the content of data you consume… Let it be spiritual or positive… ✔️ Drink a glass of buffalo milk daily before you sleep; it will help you get a sound sleep. ✔️ 100 steps after both meals are must. ✔️ Eat only home cooked food… Avoid outside food, packed and processed food. ✔️ Prefer natural liquids like fruit juice, coconut water, lemon juice, kokum sharbat over packed ones. 💊 Medication: 💊 Panchendriya Vardhan Tailam 2 drops in each nostril early in the morning empty stomach. Cap. Memorin(S.G.Phytopharma) 2 caps twice a day before food. Syp. Prasham 4 tsp at bed time with lukewarm water. Tab. Manasmitra Vatak 2 tabs at bed time.
