Doctors' responses

-Allopathic medicines manage blood pressure but don’t “cure” it permanently. They are intended to keep BP in a safe range to prevent complications like stroke or heart attack. -Internal Medicines 1)Patanjali Muktivya Tablet 1 tablet After meals, twice daily 2)Arjuna powder 3 gm With warm water Morning 3) prabhakr vati 2 tab twice daily after meal 4)Triphala churna 3 gm With warm water 2. Dietary Advice Low salt, low oil, high fiber diet Include fruits like pomegranate, apple, and leafy greens Avoid processed, fried, and sugary foods Drink Kapiv BP juice only if tolerated 3. Lifestyle & Daily Routine (Dinacharya) Gentle morning walk (if physically able) Pranayama: Anulom-Vilom and Bhramari for 10 min daily Avoid late-night meals and excess caffeine Regular sleep (7-8 hours) 4. Follow-up Check BP at home daily, keep a log Re-assess after 2 weeks Monitor for dizziness, swelling, or severe headache

Srinivasa Rao garu (85 yrs, Hyderabad) Your BP 161/78 means: Upper number (161) is still high. At your age, this needs proper control. 📊 Your Current BP: 161 / 78 Systolic (161) → High Diastolic (78) → Normal This is called Isolated Systolic Hypertension, common in elderly due to arterial stiffness. At 85 years, this level needs control, but we must be careful not to reduce BP too aggressively. ⚠️ Very Important Please DO NOT start Mukta Vati along with allopathic medicine on your own. Why? Mukta Vati can lower BP strongly. Combined with allopathic medicine → BP may suddenly drop. At 85 years → Risk of dizziness, fall, stroke. 🩺 About “No Permanent Cure in Allopathy” High BP (Hypertension) is usually a lifestyle + age-related vascular condition. Even in Ayurveda, BP is considered a chronic condition, not something that disappears permanently at this age. Goal is: ✅ Control ✅ Prevent stroke ✅ Protect heart & kidneys 🌿 About Kapiva BP Juice You are taking it for 3 months. Since BP is still 161 → It is not sufficient alone. You can continue if: No side effects Doctor agrees But it is not replacing proper BP control. 🌿 About Mukta Vati Mukta Vati (by Patanjali Ayurved) contains: Sarpagandha Brahmi Shankhpushpi Mukta pishti It is effective for: Mild to moderate hypertension Stress-related BP BUT in elderly: Should start with very low dose Only under supervision Regular BP monitoring required 💡 My Safe Suggestion For You 1️⃣ Continue allopathic medicine (do not stop suddenly). 2️⃣ Do not add Mukta Vati without doctor approval. 3️⃣ Check BP for 7 consecutive days (morning & evening). 4️⃣ Reduce salt intake. 5️⃣ Continue light walking. 🎯 Target BP for 85 years Usually acceptable target: 👉 Around 140–150 systolic Not necessary to push to 120.
