Frequent night falls, also known as nocturnal emissions, are often caused by an aggravated Vata dosha, stress, overthinking, or poor dietary and lifestyle habits. Here’s a detailed plan to help reduce this issue:
1. Diet and Herbs for Control
Take Ashwagandha powder (1 teaspoon) with warm milk before bedtime. This calms the nervous system and improves control over ejaculation.
Consume Shatavari capsules (500 mg twice daily) to nourish reproductive tissues and strengthen sexual health.
Include foods rich in zinc like sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and almonds. These help in improving hormonal balance.
2. Regulate Your Lifestyle
Avoid spicy, fried, and excessively sour foods as they aggravate Pitta and Vata doshas, which can lead to increased night falls.
Stay away from pornography or sexually stimulating content, especially before sleep, as it can trigger involuntary emissions.
Maintain a regular sleep schedule. Go to bed early and avoid sleeping on your stomach, as it can stimulate the reproductive organs.
3. Practice Strengthening Techniques
Engage in yoga poses like Vajrasana (thunderbolt pose), Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), and Mool Bandha (pelvic floor exercises). These improve muscle control and strengthen the reproductive system.
Practice Brahmacharya (moderation in sexual thoughts and activities) to help the mind and body stay balanced.
4. Detox and Calm the Mind
Take Triphala churna (1 teaspoon) with warm water at bedtime to cleanse the system and balance doshas.
Use Brahmi or Jatamansi oil for head massage before sleeping. This reduces stress and calms the mind.
5. Additional Ayurvedic Treatments
Apply Bala Thailam or Ashwagandha Bala oil to the lower abdomen and gently massage it daily to strengthen reproductive health.
Under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, consider therapies like Abhyanga (oil massage) or Shirodhara (oil poured on the forehead) to relax the body and reduce stress-induced night falls.
Consistency with these remedies and lifestyle adjustments for at least 4–6 weeks will bring significant improvement. If the issue persists, consult an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized assessment.
