To reduce bloating and promote freshness in the morning, it’s important to focus on both digestive health and balancing the doshas. For Bloating: Triphala is highly effective in promoting digestion and relieving bloating. You can give him Triphala powder (½ tsp) with warm water before bed. Ensure his meals are well-balanced and easy to digest. Avoid heavy, oily foods at night. Ajwain (Carom seeds) with a pinch of black salt is beneficial, which you're already giving. You may continue with this but also consider Ginger (fresh or as powder) after meals to aid digestion. For Freshness in the Morning: Encourage him to drink warm water with lemon first thing in the morning. This helps kickstart metabolism and refresh the system. Proper sleep and light yoga or stretches in the morning will help clear sluggishness and give him energy. Ashwagandha (1/4th tsp in milk) in the evening will help calm the mind and improve sleep quality, leading to a more refreshed morning. Regular practice of these simple remedies should help with both bloating and overall freshness. If the problem persists, consider a consultation for a more tailored approach.

Bloating and gas can be a sign of imbalance in your son's digestive fire or agni, and you might be right to want address this. Sometimes, these are connected to diet or just stress factors which a young guy certainly experiences. First off, you've mentioned he's having ajwain (carom seeds), kala namak (black salt), and saunf (fennel) — those are great starts. They're known to aid digestion and help reduce bloating. But let's try a few more things. Consider this, in Ayurveda, it's important to ensure the diet is warm and cooked, not heavy or cold. Perhaps try having him avoid food that's too processed or has low prana (life-force energy). Instead, emphasize freshly cooked meals that are light like kichari or simple lentil soups. Reducing dairy might help too, sometimes it's a culprit for gas and bloating. Timing of meals matters too. Dinner should be light and eaten early, around 7:00 PM. Allow time before sleep for digestion. Encourage him to take a short walk after dinner - movement aids digestion. Now for motions - a good digestive routine can do wonders. Try having him drink half a glass of warm water right when he wakes up. Warm water with a little ginger or lemon can stimulate agni without being harsh on his belly. Check if he's getting enough fiber from his diet, it's a crucial for regular motions. A fruit like an apple or pear, and some cooked veggies daily can improve this. Please keep an eye on stress levels too, teenage years are a bit of a rollercoaster. Yoga, light breathing exercises, or even just, some mindful time each day can be amazingly beneficial for the mind and body. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to consult a professional who can examine him in detail. Avoid letting it go untreated.
