Doctors’ responses

Your weight gain (15 kg in 2 years), irregular periods, and use of Rosen 28 (a birth control pill to regulate periods) suggest a hormonal imbalance, possibly due to PCOS or metabolic issues. Since excess weight can delay ovulation and pregnancy, your first goal should be healthy weight loss. If want I will suggest you diet plan with exercises

Developing a harmonious routine to manage PCOS for pregnancy can be quite the journey, one that requires patience and consistent effort. With your history of irregular periods and recent weight gain, addressing both lifestyle and dietary changes alongside Ayurveda can really make a difference. First, in terms of diet, prioritize meals that balance insulin levels. Opt for whole grains like brown rice and quinoa, plenty of green leafy vegetables, and fruits like berries that are lower in glycemic index. Steer away from refined sugars and processed food as they tend to stress the system and aggravate PCOS symptoms. Instead, try including spices like turmeric and cinnamon, which are known to enhance metabolism and assist in hormone balancing. You mentioned your current weight gain, which is fairly common in PCOS due to insulin resistance. Incorporating regular physical activity—whether it's brisk walking, yoga, or swimming—at least 30 minutes daily, can greatly help. Yoga, in particular, with asanas like Bhujangasana and Kapalbhati pranayama is known to stimulate ovarian function and balance hormones. On the Ayurvedic front, focus on supporting your digestive fire or agni, using herbal support like Triphala before bedtime to maintain regularity and detox the body gently. Ashwagandha can reduce stress levels, and Shatavari is known for supporting female reproductive health. Regarding your inquiry on Rosen 28, it's a synthetic hormone designed to regulate periods but does not directly improve fertility. Once you halt taking it, your cycle might require a few months to stabilize. During this time, focus on these lifestyle changes to enhance your ovulatory pattern. If after 6 months you do not conceive naturally, consider consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner or a fertility specialist for personalized treatment. Prioritize self-care, and though this might feel pressing, remember to be gentle with through the process. Keep track of ovulation, and when you're ready, approach conception with a healthy body and mind.
