Hello Rehan, Do you experience any pain or discomfort while urinating, or has the frequency of urination changed? How about your digestion and energy levels—are they consistent, or have you noticed any changes? Have you been under stress or experienced anxiety recently? It would also help to know if you’ve had any past urinary tract infections or other issues with your kidneys or urinary system. Additionally, are you drinking enough water, and do you avoid irritants like caffeine, spicy foods, or alcohol that might affect the urinary tract? From an Ayurvedic perspective, your symptoms may indicate an imbalance in Apana Vata, the subdosha responsible for elimination. This imbalance, possibly combined with excess weight, could lead to difficulty fully emptying the bladder. Ayurveda would recommend balancing Vata and strengthening the urinary system. Temporary remedies might include herbs like Gokshura to support bladder health, Punarnava for kidney function, Ashwagandha to balance Vata, and Varuna for urinary control. Have you tried incorporating any of these remedies or lifestyle adjustments before, or would you be open to integrating Ayurvedic practices like specific yoga exercises for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles?
Main couse of your problem is your obesity because blood supply of every organ is less due to obesity so nerve supply is also week so first of all take control of your diet Avoid all processed food dairy products sugar meda starch nonveg oily foods Take leafy vegetables salad sprouts millets in your diet Doing some regular exercise Take Awala aloevera leamon juice taking one meal in 24 hours Triphla kwath Triphla powder Triphla gugulu Arogyawardhini wati Chandraprabha vati Follow 3 month regular
It sounds like you’re experiencing post-micturition dribble, which is a fairly common issue where urine leaks after you think you’re done urinating. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this can often be linked to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, particularly affecting Apana Vayu which governs the downward and outward flow of bodily wastes.
Considering your age, weight, and symptoms, it’s crucial to look at this condition comprehensively. Firstly, managing your weight could alleviate some pressure on the abdominal and urinary organs, assisting in better control. Following an Ayurvedic lifestyle can be beneficial. Regular physical activity, like brisk walking for about 30-45 minutes daily, can help improve digestion and metabolic rate contributing to weight reduction.
Focusing on your diet, opt for a warm, unctuous, and easily digestible foods that balance Vata, such as cooked vegetables, whole grains, and lentils. Avoid cold, dry, and raw foods. Ghee, in moderate amount, is beneficial. Try having a teaspoon of triphala powder with warm water at bedtime, it may help in maintaining healthy digestion.
Practicing Ashwini Mudra, which involves contracting and relaxing the anal sphincter muscles, can help in strengthening the pelvic region. You can do this for about 5-10 minutes twice a day. Mindful urination, relaxing and taking your time without rushing, can also be helpful.
If these self-care strategies do not lead to any improvement, it’s important to consider consulting an Ayurvedic physician or a medical professional to rule out any underlying health issues. In some cases, biofeedback or pelvic floor exercises under guidance might be necessary. Stay observant of any other symptoms or changes that might occur as well.
