The formulation you've been advised is intriguing and indeed full of ingredients with potential benefits from an Ayurvedic perspective. While it's commendable that you're seeking to enhance your body’s immunity, a couple of things should be considered before proceeding. Allergies often relate to dosha imbalances, perhaps an aggravated Kapha or Vata in your case, seeing as there's respiratory involvement. The ingredients like Turmeric, Amla, and Guduchi are quite known for their immune-modulating effects. Turmeric with its Curcumin is anti-inflammatory, Cinnomon can increase Agni, and Tulsi is particularly good for respiratory health. Amla is quite revered as a Rasayana, which supports your immunity. Bibhitaki, part of Triphala, aids digestion, while Glycyrrhiza glabra or licorice can soothe inflamed mucous membranes. The spices like Long pepper, Ginger, Black pepper, and cardamom enhance digestibility – really great, considering Agni must be maintained robust for good immunity. Regarding the dosage, 2.5g per dose is generally sensible and taking it twice a day aligns well to keep up the levels, but listen to your body’s response; if any discomfort arises, dosage adjustment may be needed. It's key to ensure these herbs are of good quality, preferably organic, and ethically sourced. Having said, considering your chronic symptoms and the fact that you are in a place with fewer standard health facilities, it's also vital to be cautious. If symptoms like ear inflammation worsen it might need immediate medical intervention. If this formulation does not begin to alleviate symptoms after a reasonable trial period, or if symptoms exacerbate, it’d be prudent to consult with a healthcare provider who can physically assess your condition. Meanwhile, incorporate lifestyle practices like Pranayama, daily oiling of nostrils with oils like Anu Tailam may help, dietary improvements focusing on warm, nourishing foods can be beneficial part of a holistic approach.
