So, you're dealing with PCOD and trying to conceive without IVF is a big ask, but let's explore it! Sounds like a complex situation with your hormone levels - especially high LH, and low estrogen and progesterone. It's all over the place! From an Ayurvedic perspective, this might indicate an imbalance in your doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, affecting your reproductive health. First off, really tune into your lifestyle and diet. PCOD is often worsened by stress, poor diet, and unhealthy lifestyle. So reducing stress, maintaining a regular routine, and eating properly is vital. Focus on a diet that pacifies Vata-pitta - warm, nourishing, and grounding foods. Avoiding spicy, excessively oily, and processed foods can help. Consider including herbs like Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) and Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) – they’re traditionally used to balance hormones and support fertility. Shatavari, in particular, can support healthy estrogen levels. Have a teaspoon daily, you can mix it with a glass of warm milk or water in the evening. Ashwagandha is great for stress reduction and overall hormonal balance. Try getting it as a powder; mix it with a warm drink before bedtime. Yoga and Pranayama are super important. Specific poses like Baddha Konasana (Butterfly pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge pose) can enhance blood flow and vitality in pelvic region. Breathing exercises - Start with Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) to calm your mind and bring in balance. And, check your agni! Your digestive fire must be in top shape because poor digestion can mess with hormone absorption. Try herbal teas with fennel and ginger to boost digestion. Stay hydrated but don’t go overboard on the cold drinks. Warm herbal teas or just plain warm water is better. It’s complex, so keep a balanced approach, and if you haven’t already, maybe talk to an Ayurvedic practitioner who can tailor things exactly for you? And hey, if things don’t improve, don’t hesitate to seek a bit more medical help... it’s okay to mix modern and traditional ways!
