I’m sorry to hear about your ongoing struggle with alopecia and the itching. To better understand your condition, could you tell me if you have experienced any recent stress or emotional challenges, as stress can often exacerbate hair loss? How is your overall health, including sleep patterns, energy levels, and digestion? Are there any other symptoms like changes in your skin (rashes, dryness), or any joint pain or other autoimmune symptoms? Have you noticed any triggers, such as specific products, food, or environmental changes, that seem to worsen the itching or hair loss? Additionally, it would be helpful to know if you’ve had any hormonal imbalances or other autoimmune conditions in the past.

Qamar, your symptoms suggest Alopecia Areata with possible scalp dermatitis. The itching and bleeding indicate inflammation, which could be due to an autoimmune response, fungal infection, or sensitivity. Scalp Care & Herbal Oils-: Neem oil + Coconut oil: Mix equal parts, apply before bed, and wash in the morning. Neem helps with itching and infections. Bhringraj oil + Castor oil: Strengthens hair and promotes regrowth. Use twice a week. Aloe Vera Gel + Turmeric: Apply fresh aloe vera gel mixed with a pinch of turmeric to soothe the scalp. Use a mild herbal shampoo or a homemade mix of Shikakai + Amla + Reetha powder. Avoid chemical shampoos. Rinse your scalp with neem water (boil neem leaves in water and cool it). Include—Iron & protein-rich foods: Include spinach, beetroot, dates, eggs, nuts, and lentils for hair strength. Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods. Take turmeric milk at night for healing. • Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and coriander seed water to flush toxins. Take —1.Triphala Churna (1 tsp at night with warm water) for detox. 2. Ashwagandha powder-: 1 /2 tsp at bed time (with warm milk) to manage stress, a major factor in alopecia. 3.Neem ghan vati 1 tab twice daily for blood purification Manage stress through yoga and pranayama (Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari). Get enough sleep (minimum 7 hours). Avoid scratching to prevent infection and further hair loss. Let me know if you want a customised treatment

For hair thinning and baldness, especially with a history of using minoxidil, Ayurveda offers natural and holistic solutions that focus on improving circulation to the scalp, strengthening hair follicles, and addressing any internal imbalances. You can try using Bhringraj oil, which is known to promote hair growth, strengthen hair roots, and prevent further hair loss. Massaging the scalp with warm oils like Amla oil, Brahmi oil, or a blend of coconut oil with a few drops of essential oils like rosemary or lavender can improve blood circulation and nourish the scalp. Internally, herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Brahmi support hair health by balancing hormones and reducing stress, which is a common trigger for hair loss. Taking a daily dose of Triphala or amla powder can also boost hair health by detoxifying the body and promoting hair growth. In addition, focus on a protein-rich diet that includes foods like lentils, nuts, seeds, and leafy greens to support hair strength. Managing stress through yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathing exercises) can also be beneficial in addressing the root causes of hair thinning. For long-term results, it's best to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to create a personalized treatment plan.
