Hi, Thank you for sharing your details. 1. How long have you been on thyroid medication, and do you experience any symptoms of thyroid imbalance (e.g., fatigue, mood changes, hair loss)? 2. Have you had any specific dietary or lifestyle habits that may contribute to weight gain or kidney function issues? 3. How severe is the swelling in your legs, and is there any pain or discomfort associated with it?

Hello, To recommend a suitable Panchakarma treatment, I need to understand your condition better. Since your creatinine is 1.6, it’s important to know if you have been diagnosed with any kidney disease and whether you experience symptoms like reduced urine output, foamy urine, or high blood pressure. Regarding your thyroid condition, I would like to know if it is hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism and whether your TSH levels are currently under control with the 75 mg tablet. Additionally, the nature of the leg swelling is essential to assess — whether it is pitting ? or non-pitting and if it worsens at specific times or with physical activity. Your dietary habits, water intake, and salt consumption will also provide valuable insights. Lastly, understanding your exercise routine and any prior experience with Ayurvedic therapies will help tailor the most effective and safe Panchakarma treatment plan for you.

Hello Ashutosh, Your condition suggests a Vata imbalance leading to nerve compression, spinal degeneration, and circulation issues. The pain, disc protrusion, and anxiety require a holistic Ayurvedic approach to strengthen the spine, reduce inflammation, and calm the nervous system. Do you experience numbness, tingling, or weakness in your legs or arms?Does the pain worsen in cold or after prolonged rest? Have you undergone any physiotherapy or alternative treatments? How is your digestion? Do you have constipation or bloating, which may indicate deeper Vata imbalance?

For managing spinal disc protrusions, spondylosis, anxiety, leg pain, tingling, digestive issues, and insomnia, Ayurveda offers holistic care. Take Yograj Guggulu (1 tablet twice daily) & Cap Cervilon (1 caps twice daily) to reduce inflammation and ease nerve compression. For digestive relief, use Avipattikar Churna (1 teaspoon with lukewarm water before meals). These remedies can help manage pain, improve mobility, and support digestion naturally. Additionally, applying Kottamchukkadi Thailam or Dhanwantharam Thailam for a gentle back and leg massage can enhance blood circulation and reduce stiffness. Hot and cold compresses may further relieve pain. Lifestyle modifications are essential for long-term management. Practice light yoga poses like Cobra Pose and Bridge Pose to strengthen the spine and improve flexibility. Breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari Pranayama can reduce anxiety and enhance relaxation. Maintain a warm and easily digestible diet, avoiding fried, processed, and spicy foods. Drink ginger or cumin tea to soothe digestion. Prioritize good sleep hygiene and reduce screen time before bed.

Namaste Ashutosh Ji, Your symptoms indicate multiple disc protrusions, spondylosis, and degenerative changes, leading to nerve compression and pain. Ayurveda focuses on reducing inflammation, strengthening the spine, and improving nerve health through herbal medicines, therapies, and lifestyle modifications. Ayurvedic Medicines: 1. Trayodashang Guggulu –(1-2 tablets twice daily after meals with warm water) 2. Mahayograj Guggulu – (1 tablet twice daily after food) 3.Dashmool Kwath – (10-15ml with warm water twice daily before meals) 4. Ashwagandha and Shatavari – (Mix ½ tsp each in warm milk before bedtime) 5. Erand Tail (Castor Oil) – 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water for pain relief and detoxification. External Applications: 1. Mahanarayana Tailam / Dhanwantaram Tailam – Warm oil massage followed by mild fomentation (twice daily). 2. Kati Basti / Patra Pinda Sweda (from a Panchakarma center) – Very effective in relieving compression and pain. Diet & Lifestyle Modifications: • Avoid cold, stale, and heavy foods that aggravate Vata dosha. • Include warm, light, and nourishing foods like soups, ghee, and cooked vegetables. • Stay hydrated and consume anti-inflammatory herbs like turmeric and ginger in your diet. • Mild yoga (Bhujangasana, Makarasana) and Pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) help in pain relief and calming anxiety. • Avoid prolonged sitting or standing—change positions frequently. Duration of Treatment: Ayurvedic treatment requires 3-6 months for significant improvement, along with regular follow-ups. Panchakarma therapies like Basti and Kati Basti may be beneficial if done under expert supervision. If symptoms worsen, consult an Ayurveda specialist for a personalized approach.
