With over three years of clinical experience in a neuro-psychiatric hospital, I have developed a deep understanding of mental health and neurological disorders. My work involved supporting patients with a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, insomnia, and neurodegenerative diseases, using a combination of traditional Ayurvedic principles and evidence-based care. I take a holistic approach, addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of health, and prioritize personalized therapies that support long-term recovery and emotional well-being. In addition to my neuro-psychiatric work, I have six months of hands-on experience in emergency trauma care, where I was trained to respond quickly and effectively to acute medical situations. This experience strengthened my diagnostic abilities, crisis management skills, and reinforced the importance of timely intervention and integrative support in critical care settings. I also spent over a year in a fertility department, where I worked closely with couples dealing with infertility, menstrual irregularities, hormonal imbalances, and other reproductive health concerns. My focus was on restoring reproductive function using Ayurvedic treatments such as Uttarabasti, Rasayana therapy, and lifestyle modifications, always guided by the patient’s unique prakriti and health history. These diverse clinical experiences have shaped my practice into one that is compassionate, detail-oriented, and grounded in both tradition and clinical precision. Whether treating neurological concerns, supporting fertility, or responding to acute trauma, I am committed to offering ethical, individualized, and effective care that promotes lasting wellness.

Normal sperm count is >15 million/ml, so 2.5 million is very low, but not absolute azoospermia now.) You are NOT fully azoospermic anymore — there is sperm production happening. This means your Spermatogenesis(sperm-making system) is weak but working. In Ayurveda, this situation is treatable with correct therapies and long-term (at least 6–12 months) herbal support. You need to strictly avoid alcohol, smoking, stress, junk food. #Tip: Drink warm milk with a pinch of saffron + 1 tsp Ashwagandha Lehyam daily at bedtime. Consult a panchakarma therapist for good results.

I have gained comprehensive clinical experience through my internship and professional duties, which has laid a strong foundation for my medical practice. During my internship, I worked extensively across multiple departments, including casualty, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics & gynecology at the Government District Hospital, Gadag. This exposure allowed me to handle a variety of acute and chronic cases, sharpen my clinical assessment skills, and actively participate in patient management under the guidance of senior medical professionals. Following this, I served as a duty doctor at AYUSH Hospital, Gadag Betgeri, where I applied my Ayurvedic knowledge in a clinical setting and contributed to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient departments. I successfully completed 366 days of rigorous internship training at DGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gadag, where I was involved in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning under supervision. My time there allowed me to integrate classical Ayurvedic principles with practical patient care while developing a keen understanding of hospital operations and multidisciplinary collaboration. These experiences have enhanced my ability to handle diverse medical conditions confidently while maintaining a patient-centered approach. I am dedicated to continuing my journey as an Ayurvedic practitioner with the same passion and commitment, focusing on delivering quality, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare.

So you're dealing with azoospermia or low sperm count, that's a tough one to hear but let's take a look through the Ayurvedic lens. Definitely, Ayurveda can offer supportive approaches, though it's important to consult a specialist for a thorough evaluation. Firstly, a key concept here is the balance of doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta. These play a significant role in the reproductive health. If there is imbalances, it can lead to issues like what you're experiencing. Also, Agni or digestive fire is crucial. If digestion is sluggish, then nutrition won't reach the Shukra dhatu, which is the tissue responsible for reproductive health. Dietary changes are foundational. Aim for fresh, organic foods and prioritize warm, cooked meals that are easily digestible. Spices like cumin, turmeric, and black pepper can help kindle digestion. You might wanna incorporate specific herbs. Ashwagandha is well-known to support male reproductive health. It’s thought to improve sperm count and motility. Take ashwagandha powder with milk daily, if possible. Gokshura (Tribulus Terrestris) is another herb that's supportive for male issues. Lifestyle advice... Make sure to manage stress, as stress can severely impact fertility. Regular practice of yoga and meditation could be beneficial. Also, ensure you're getting enough sleep. Late nights can aggravate Vata, throwing off reproductive balance. Oil massages, specifically with sesame oil, can also be beneficial for nourishing the tissues and calming Vata. However, because your condition can be complex, I’d urge a consultation with a professional who can assess your unique constitution and guide you further. It's also wise to stay in touch with medical professionals given the nature of azoospermia. Always keep both doors open – holistic and allopathic. A reminder - these steps are supportive but not substitute for direct medical treatment.
