Hello Himani Thank you for sharing your concern regarding alopecia. At 34 years, suffering from alopecia (patchy hair loss) & dullness of face for 2 years, despite taking allopathy and homeopathy, suggests a chronic root-cause imbalance. But dont worry we are here to help you out😊

✅ AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

1 Bhringraj Capsules 1-0-1 after food – strengthens hair follicles. 2 Amalaki Rasayana 1 tsp daily once – improves skin glow & immunity. 3.Groo 1-0-1 after food 4 Triphala Churna 1 tsp with warm water at night – detoxifies gut & clears Ama. 5 Jeevamrutham 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water – to reduce hair fall.

✅ External Remedies

1 Neelibhringadi Taila – gentle scalp massage thrice weekly. 2 Aloe vera gel + few drops of castor oil – apply on bald patches.

✅ AYURVEDIC LEPA (herbal paste):

Mix Bhringraj powder + Amla powder + Aloe vera pulp, apply on scalp patches weekly.

For face: Apply sandalwood + rose water pack twice weekly. Raw milk + turmeric daily as cleanser.

✅HOME REMEDIES

1. Onion juice – apply on patches, leave 15 min, wash with mild shampoo (stimulates follicles).

2. Methi seeds (fenugreek) paste – nourishes scalp, strengthens roots.

3. Curry leaves boiled in coconut oil – use as hair oil.

4. For dull face: Drink Amla juice daily. Apply tomato pulp + honey on face once a week for natural glow.

✅DIET AND LIFESTYLE

Eat more green leafy vegetables, amla, dates, sesame seeds, almonds (soaked).

Avoid excess fried, junk, and spicy foods that worsen Pitta.

Drink lukewarm water with lemon in morning – improves digestion & clears toxins.

Yoga & Pranayama: Anulom Vilom, Kapalbhati, Shirsasana (or Sarvangasana with guidance) – improve scalp blood circulation.

Maintain regular sleep – lack of rest weakens regeneration of skin & hair cells.

With consistent internal + external + diet/lifestyle correction, you can expect sustainable regrowth and improved facial glow.

Wishing you a good health😊

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Alopecia and dullness of the face are often interconnected through imbalances in the body’s doshas, particularly the Pitta and Vata doshas, which can lead to hair loss and lack of skin luster. For a more permanent solution to alopecia, it’s essential to address the underlying imbalances.

Alopecia can be influenced by factors like stress, poor nutrition, and hormonal imbalances, impacting the nutrients reaching hair follicles. Ayurveda emphasizes holistic approaches to rectify these imbalances. Begin with a balanced diet. Include Pitta and Vata pacifying foods: leafy greens, carrots, sweet potatoes, almonds, and raisins. Hydrate adequately, by drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily to flush out the toxins.

Incorporate herbal remedies, such as Amla (Indian Gooseberry) and Bhringaraj, both revered in Ayurveda for promoting hair growth. You can consume Amla juice daily morning on an empty stomach. Bhringaraj powder can be used to prepare hair masks; it can be mixed with water or coconut oil and apply on the scalp weekly.

For the face, enhancing your blood circulation is key. Regular Abhyanga, a form of self-massage using warm sesame oil or coconut oil, can stimulate circulation and rejuvenate the skin. Additionally, Rose Water serves as an excellent natural toner to revive skin dullness; gently tap it over the face twice daily.

Reducing stress is pivotal, as it directly affects both hair and skin health. Engage in meditation or yoga for a consistent pattern. Techniques such as Pranayama (breathing exercises) balance doshas and promote mental clarity.

Avoid chemical-based shampoos or lotions; stick to mild herbal products. Regular scalp massage helps too; increase the flow of blood to the hair follicles.

Patience, consistency, and lifestyle adjustments are necessary as Ayurveda does not promise overnight results but focuses on long-term health. If issues persist, it may be beneficial to consult a local Ayurvedic doctor for a tailored approach to your constitution and symptoms.

HELLO HIMANI,

ALOPECIA (hair loss)= In Ayurveda, hairfall or bald patches are called Indralupta/Khalitya

It happens because -Pitta dosha becomes high-> burns/nourishment of hair roots decreases -Vata dosha becomes high-> causes dryness, weak roots -Kapha dosha blocks rots-> hair stops growing -Poor digestion-> toxins form-> they block hair follicles and reduce glow of skin. -Stress , irregular lifestyle or wrong food habits also play a role

DULL FACE= same imbalance (pitta+vata+ama toxins) reduces skin glow, circulation, and Ojas (vital energy)

So, the root is not only outside (hair/scalp) but also inside (digestion, stress, diet , toxins)

TREATMENT GOALS -correct the root cause (dosha imbalance, toxins, stress) -Improve digestion and metabolism -Nourish hair roots and improve circulation -Remove toxins and purify blood -Rejuvinate skin and restore Ojas (glow + vitality) -Provide long term balance so results are permenent

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) BHRINGARAJ CHURNA = 1 tsp at night with warm water or honey for 3-6 months =best rasayana for hair regrowth, strengthens follicles

2) AMLAKI RASAYANA= 2 tsp in morning for 6 months =rejuvinates, improves immunity skin glow

3)TRIPHALA CHURNA= 5gm with warm water at bedtime for 3 months =cleanses gut, removes toxins, supports absorption

4) MANJISTHA CAPSULES= 500mg twice daily after meals for 2-3 months =purifies blood, improves complexion

5) BRAHMI VATI= 1 tab twice daily for 3-6 months =reduces stress, balances hormones, nourishes tissues

EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS

1) HEAD OIL MASSAGE= Daily with Neelibringadi taila (15-20 min then wash). Nourishes scalp, strengthens root

2) FACE PACK= mix sandalwood + turmeric+ aloe vera gel-> apply 20 min-> improves glow and remove dullness

3) SCALP LEPA= fresh paste of Amla + hibiscus + bhringaraj leaves once a week for regrowth

4) NASYA= 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning. =improves hair, skin and senses

PANCHAKARMA For deeper long term cure (should be done in Ayurvedic clinic by practioner) -Virechana= clears excess pitta, improves skin/hair -Nasya= nourishes scalp, clears toxins -Shirodhara= reduces stress, balances hormones, calms mind -Raktamokshana= for severe scalp eruptions or toxins

LIFESTYLE -Sleep early before 10 pm, avoid late nights -manage stress with meditation , journaling, hobbies -avoid frequent hair colouring, chemical shampoos, blow drying -regular scalp oiling, + gentle massage improves circulation -do not suppress natural urges (urination, stool, sneezing, crying)-> increases toxins

YOGA ASANAS(improve circulation to scalp and reduce stress) -sarvangasana -shirsasana -vajrasana -padmasana -adho mukha svanasana

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= balances doshas -Bhramari= calms stress -Sheetali= cools excess pitta

MEDITATION= 10-15 mins daily-> reduces stress hormones that cause hair fall

DIET -Amla, pomegranate , dates, figs, raisins -Green leafy vegetables, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin -cow’s ghee, buttermilk (spiced) , moong dal -coconut water, fresh seasonal fruits

AVOID -excess spicy, oily, fried, junk food -too much sour and salty items -pickles, vinegar , chips -alcohol,smoking, cold drinks

HOME REMEDIES -drink amla juice 20 ml daily -apply onion juice or methi seed paste on scalp once a week stimulates follicles -drink triphala decoction at night for detox -apply aloe vera pulp on face for glow

INVESTIGATIONS -thyroid profile -vitamin D, vitamin B12, Ferritin (iron levels) -CBC, ESR -Blood sugar

-Alopecia is not just a local hair problem-> it reflects an internal imbalance of doshas + toxins + stress -Temporary relief happens when only outside treatment is done. permanent solution needs inside + outside approach -with right diet, lifestyle, medicines, panchakarma and patience at least 3-6 months,Ayurveda can give very good, lasting results -Focus on regenerating your Ojas (vital energy)- when inside is healthy, outside (hair and face) naturally shines

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU
