For your father’s condition, using Suvarna Vasant Malti can be considered, given its traditional use in boosting immunity, strength, and overall vitality. However, given his age and current low hemoglobin levels, some caution is advised. Suvarna Vasant Malti is often used as an adjunct to support physical strength and enhance ojas (vital energy), but it’s vital to ensure that it doesn’t interfere with any underlying conditions or medications he might be taking.

Since his hemoglobin level is 7.5, which indicates anemia, it’s crucial to address the root cause of this anemia as well. If he has not been evaluated for causes of anemia such as nutritional deficiencies, chronic diseases, or any gastrointestinal issues, I recommend discussing this with a healthcare provider to ensure comprehensive management beyond what Ayurveda can offer.

For the time being, besides considering Suvarna Vasant Malti, you might focus on dietary improvements to support his hemoglobin. Include iron-rich foods like leafy greens, legumes, and possibly beetroot. Vitamin C-rich foods like amla can help enhance iron absorption. Ensure his diet is easy to digest, keeping Agni (digestive fire) in balance — think of warm, cooked meals rather than raw, as they’re typically gentler on the digestion.

Suvarna Vasant Malti should be administered under supervision. Dosage is crucial: typically, 1 tablet a day with honey or ghee after meals is standard. Observe any changes in health or energy levels and adjust as necessary, with professional advice as needed.

Monitor his energy levels and overall health closely. If he experiences any adverse effects or no improvement, consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider for personalized treatment becomes important.

Suvarna Vasant Malti, traditionally used in Ayurveda for boosting immunity and overall strength, is a potent formulation with ingredients such as gold bhasma. However, given your father’s age and his low hemoglobin count, it’s important to approach any supplementation with caution. Gold bhasma preparations are known for their rejuvenative properties but must be used judiciously, especially in the elder population that can have varied sensitivities and health conditions.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, his low hemoglobin indicates an imbalance likely in the rasa and rakta dhatus, the primary blood tissues, which could be impacting his ojas, or vitality. While Suvarna Vasant Malti can support these, it’s essential to make sure his digestion (agni) is strong enough to process and absorb such potent medicines. Otherwise, it might lead to further imbalances or digestive stress.

Before continuing with the Suvarna Vasant Malti, consider testing his current agni and any possible existing contraindications or side effects. Also, consult a experienced Ayurvedic practitioner who can do a detailed prakriti and dosha analysis to ensure it aligns with his current body constitution and health needs.

In addition to medication, focus on dietary support that can naturally boost hemoglobin, like incorporating cooked leafy vegetables, beetroot, and pomegranate juice. Ensuring a well-balanced diet and appropriate rest are also crucial.

Given the hemoglobin level of 7.5, it’s low enough that he should see a conventional medical doctor to ensure no immediate interventions are needed. Anemia, especially with such a low count, can have multiple underlying causes that must be diagnosed accurately. Combining allopathic care and Ayurvedic guidance can offer a comprehensive approach to his wellness.
