आयुर्वेदिक समझ (ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है)

आयुर्वेद के अनुसार, यहाँ मुख्य समस्या है: अग्निमांद्य – पाचन अग्नि का कमज़ोर होना वात प्रकोप – आँतों में हवा का ज़्यादा होना साधारण खाने का भी ठीक से पाचन न होना → जिससे अमा (टॉक्सिन) बनता है अगर पाचन तंत्र कमज़ोर है तो सब्ज़ियाँ गैस बना सकती हैं (खासकर पत्तागोभी, फूलगोभी, बीन्स, आलू)।

इसलिए, मूल समस्या खाना नहीं है, बल्कि जिस तरह से आपका शरीर उसे पचाता है, वह है।

आयुर्वेदिक उपचार योजना

1. अंदरूनी दवाएँ (पाचन ठीक करने और गैस कम करने के लिए) इन्हें 6–8 हफ़्ते तक नियमित रूप से इस्तेमाल करें:

1. हिंग्वाष्टक चूर्ण ½ चम्मच खाना खाने से पहले, दिन में दो बार मिलाने के लिए गर्म पानी या घी का इस्तेमाल करें गैस तोड़ता है, पाचन बढ़ाता है

2. अविपत्तिकर चूर्ण ½ चम्मच रात को सोते समय गर्म पानी के साथ एसिडिटी, पेट फूलना और पेट दर्द कम करता है

3. जीरकाद्यरिष्ट 15 ml + बराबर पानी दोपहर और रात के खाने के बाद पाचन अग्नि को मज़बूत करता है और इस तरह, लगातार गैस बनने से रोकता है

डिटॉक्स (पुरानी गैस के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी)

क्योंकि यह समस्या आपको लंबे समय से है, इसलिए हल्का डिटॉक्स ज़रूरी है। साप्ताहिक हल्का डिटॉक्स हफ़्ते में एक दिन: सिर्फ़ पतली मूंग दाल की खिचड़ी खाएँ रोटी, कच्ची सब्ज़ियाँ और दही से दूर रहें पूरे दिन गर्म पानी पिएँ

रात का डिटॉक्स सपोर्ट त्रिफला चूर्ण – ½ चम्मच रात को गर्म पानी के साथ (सिर्फ़ 2–3 हफ़्ते)

यह जमा हुए अमा को बाहर निकालने में मदद करता है और पाचन को एक नई शुरुआत देता है। डाइट गाइडलाइन्स (सबसे ज़रूरी हिस्सा)

इनसे बचें (कम से कम 1 महीने के लिए) कच्ची सब्ज़ियां, सलाद पत्तागोभी, फूलगोभी, ब्रोकली राजमा, छोले, सोयाबीन आलू, मटर ठंडा पानी, रात में दही रात को देर से खाना

जीवनशैली में बदलाव

खाना खाने के बाद 10-15 मिनट टहलें खाना खाने के तुरंत बाद न सोएं रात 10:30 बजे से पहले सोने की कोशिश करें तनाव से ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा बचें (तनाव सीधे गैस बढ़ाता है)

प्राणायाम (रोज़ 10 मिनट) पवनमुक्तासन खाना खाने के बाद वज्रासन अनुलोम विलोम

Even Home Food can cause gas if it includes heavy pulses (Dal) or if your digestion is too weak to process it.

Medicines 1 Hingwastak Churna: ½ teaspoon mixed with 1 teaspoon of Cow Ghee. Take this mixture with the very first bite of your lunch and dinner.

2 Chitrakadi Vati: 2 tablets twice daily with warm water (immediately after food). 3 Lashunadi Vati: 2 tablets twice daily with warm water (after food).

Home Remedy (Quick Relief) Ajwain & Black Salt: Mix a pinch of Ajwain (Carom seeds) and Black Salt (Kala Namak) in warm water and drink it when you feel pain or heaviness.

Dietary & Lifestyle Advice Stop eating Rajma (Kidney Beans), Chole (Chickpeas), Urad Dal (Black Gram), Cauliflower (Gobhi), and Potatoes for 2 weeks. These are major gas triggers.

Always add Hing (Asafoetida), Jeera (Cumin), and Ginger to your vegetables/dal.

Drink only Warm Water throughout the day. Cold water stops digestion.

Posture: Sit in Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose) for 10 minutes after every meal to help gas move downwards naturally.

In Ayurveda, this can be attributed to a weak or imbalanced “Agni” (digestive fire) or a vata imbalance. Focusing on enhancing your digestive fire and balancing doshas could provide relief.

First, consider evaluating the timing and combinations of your meals. Eating at irregular times or mixing incompatible foods might overstress your digestive system. Stick to regular meal timings. Avoid consuming cold, raw, or overly processed food as much as possible. Refrain from excessive intake of hard to digest substances like cheese and heavy legumes that can contribute to gas.

Additives to stimulate digestion can be beneficial. Sip on warm water infused with ginger, cumin, and ajwain seeds throughout the day. This aids in soothing vata dosha and improves digestion power. After meals, take a small piece of ginger with a pinch of salt to stimulate secretion of digestive juices.

Junk accumulation can hinder digestion - causing gas. A simple mixture of triphala powder in warm water before bedtime can help in clearing the channels; take about one teaspoon with warm water. This traditional Ayurvedic remedy helps regulate bowel movements and clean excess ama (toxins).

Practicing gentle yoga postures like Pawanamuktasana (wind-relieving pose) can also be effective in relieving gas buildup. Engage in this practice daily for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Some kids get better quickly, others need time n small course corrections. I like to work close with parents — answer all the “why’s” they bring, explain every step if I can. Sometimes they ask the same q’s multiple times, but I get it... they’re worried. I would be too. My core focus stays around strengthening immunity, gut health, and supporting proper development — both physical n mental. I use classical herbs, lehan, swarna prashan, and yes... lot of diet tweaking, too. I don’t believe in rushing or blindly copying textbook plans. Each child reacts diff. Ayurveda teaches you that if you listen well. I also work in rural setups sometimes, and tbh, the satisfaction there is just... something else. Fewer resources, more trust, more responsibility. Keeps me grounded. This work’s not flashy, but it’s real. And if the baby smiles, eats, sleeps, and the parents start sleeping again too... I know we’re on the right path.
