Good morning! Mastalgia and nipple soreness can be exacerbated by cold weather and hormonal fluctuations. To alleviate this, warm oil massages using medicated oils like Dhanvantaram or Ashwagandha Bala Taila can improve circulation and provide relief. You can also apply a soothing paste of turmeric and aloe vera gel to the affected area to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Internally, consider taking Shatavari or Ashwagandha to balance hormones and reduce breast tenderness. Keeping the area warm and avoiding tight clothing can also help. If symptoms persist, consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
Mastalgia aur nipple irritation ke liye Ayurveda mein pitta-shaman aur snehana ka upchar diya jata hai.

Shubham Bhavatu!
Mastalgia, or breast pain, can be quite discomforting, and you’re not alone in experiencing it. It sounds like the cold weather might be making things worse for you with the soreness and irritation of the nipple. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this could be related to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, which tends to aggravate during colder months.
First thing, you might want to introduce some warmth and moisture to help soothe the irritation. Applying a gentle, warm compress to the affected area for about 10-15 minutes a day could be calming. You can do this once or twice daily. Also, consider gently massaging your breast with a light oil, such as sesame oil or coconut oil, which can help balance Vata. These oils can nourish the skin too, which should help with the soreness.
Make sure you’re staying warm – keep yourself covered in layers, especially around your chest area. Cold can intensify Vata, causing more pain and irritation. Wearing cotton bras might be more comfortable as well, supporting your breasts without irritating the skin.
From a dietary angle, include warm and moist foods in your diet. Soups, stews, and foods with healthy fats like ghee can help balance Vata. Avoid cold, dry, or raw foods as much as possible.
Lastly, stress can amplify symptoms, so introduce some relaxation practices like yoga or meditation to your routine. While these suggestions are rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles, remember that persistent or severe symptoms should always be evaluated by a healthcare professional to rule out other conditions.
