The persistence of melasma for 15 years suggests a deep-seated imbalance, possibly involving accumulated ama (toxins) that affect skin health. Ayurveda considers skin issues like melasma as systemic imbalances, not isolated problems. They often relate to internal factors such as digestion, stress, and lifestyle, which can influence Pitta and Vata doshas, leading to pigmentation and dryness.

The good news is: it can definitely be improved and controlled, but it requires consistency and patience In your case, it is chronic melasma, where pigment settles deeper in the skin layers and becomes more stubborn over time. 1)kaishore guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after meals 2)mahamanjishtadi kwath – 15 ml + 15 ml water, twice daily before meals 3)sarivadyasava – 15 ml + equal water, twice daily after meals These help purify blood, balance pitta, and gradually reduce pigmentation. Avoid exposure to sun, apply aleovera gel and cover face cotton mask before stepping out. Avoid Citrus, Sour , salty and fried foods, junk food or outside food completely for few days. Avoid tea, coffee, cold drinks, alcohol and smoking, stress, fear. Include buttermilk, coriander infused water, Kokam juice, coconut water, milk in your routine. Keep your body cool. Apply oil daily in morning hours to face ( Yashtimadhu Taila or kumkumadi Taila) and then wash with warm water. After that apply Manjishta Churna over face. If you take Panchkarma treatment like virechana and rakta mokshana it will help Melasma to treat early because reducing of pitta is most important first. After Panchkarma you can start with these oral medicine. Along medicines for 15 days. 1. Mahamanjishtadi kwath 10ml thrice daily 2.Nimbadi Kashaya tablets 2 tabs before food thrice / day

Namaste, Aapka melasma pregnancy ke baad develop hua hai aur 15 saal purana hai, iska matlab hai ki yeh deep-seated pigmentation hai jisme pitta imbalance aur skin sensitivity dono involved hote hain. Isme patience bahut zaroori hai, kyunki itna purana melasma completely hatna mushkil hota hai, lekin proper care se kaafi lighten aur control kiya ja sakta hai. Sabse important cheez hai sun protection. Agar sunscreen regular use nahi kiya, toh koi bhi treatment long term kaam nahi karega. Aap daily morning mein sunscreen zaroor lagayein, even ghar ke andar bhi. Dry skin ke liye moisturizing sunscreen better rahega. Aap SPF 50 wala broad spectrum sunscreen le sakti hain, jaise La Shield SPF 50 Gel (agar sweating zyada hoti hai) ya koi cream-based sunscreen jo dry skin ke liye ho. Har 3–4 ghante mein reapply karna important hai, especially agar dhoop mein ja rahi hain. Avoid karein direct sunlight, heat exposure, aur baar-baar face par harsh products use karna. Excess scrubbing ya chemical products melasma ko aur dark kar sakte hain. Simple home care: Raat ko sone se pehle aloe vera gel halka sa laga sakti hain. Hafte mein 2–3 baar dudh + chandan powder ka mild pack laga sakti hain (10–15 min), yeh skin ko soothe karta hai. Kachha doodh cotton se gently apply karna bhi dryness aur pigmentation mein support karta hai. Diet mein pitta control zaroori hai – spicy, fried, junk food, excess tea/coffee kam karein. Include karein – amla, coconut water, cucumber, green vegetables. Proper hydration maintain karein. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Amla Churna – 1 teaspoon subah empty stomach Manjistha Churna – 1 teaspoon din mein ek baar Khadirarishta – 2 teaspoon paani ke saath, din mein 2 baar after food Yeh medicines blood purification aur skin pigmentation ko gradually reduce karne mein madad karti hain. Aapko 4–6 weeks mein halka difference dikhna start ho sakta hai, lekin noticeable improvement ke liye 3–4 months consistency zaroori hai. Melasma mein recurrence common hota hai, isliye sunscreen aur diet control long term follow karna bahut important hai.

avoid spicy food and milk and milk produts since 15 hr so u have to do jayfal with cow milk and apply on affcted part 2 times day use shatavri churna 5 gm 2 times day take haridra khanda 5 gm 2 times day do nasya with cow ghee 2 drop each nostril 2 times day
