darkening of inner thighs and underarms in PCOS is commonly linked to Kapha–Pitta imbalance, insulin resistance, and Rakta dhatu dushti (impure blood). The condition is similar to acanthosis and improves by correcting metabolism along with local care. Rx 1. Internal correction Take Triphala churna at night (½–1 tsp with warm water) for detox Manjisthadi kwath - 15 ml twice a day after meal with equal quantity of water Drink warm water + ½ tsp turmeric daily 2. External application (Lepa/Oil) Apply paste of chandan + manjistha + turmeric + milk on affected area, 15–20 min daily Or use Kumkumadi taila for gentle massage at night Weekly ubtan: besan + haldi + curd to exfoliate pigmentation 3. Lifestyle Avoid sugar, dairy excess, fried & processed food Daily exercise + sweating (helps reduce Kapha) Maintain healthy weight and proper sleep
