●1 teaspoon lemongrass. Add this mixture to 1 cup of hot water, cover, and let it steep for 10 minutes. Drink 2-3 times a day. It provides relief from nasal congestion, coughs, and flu. ● Hot Ginger: An effective remedy for colds and flu. This phlegm- and fatigue-relieving drink gently expels cold and moisture accumulated in the body. ● Ginger-Cinnamon and Lemongrass Mix: Ingredients: 1 teaspoon ginger • 1 teaspoon cinnamon • Yields 2. ● Ginger-Cardamom and Cinnamon Mix: Ingredients: • 2 teaspoons ginger • 3 teaspoons cinnamon • A pinch of cardamom. Method: Boil 1 teaspoon of the mixture for 10-15 minutes. Once slightly cooled, add 1 teaspoon honey. ● Steam Therapy: Fill a pot with water and boil 1 teaspoon ginger or a few eucalyptus leaves. Cover your body with a towel and inhale the steam. Provides instant relief from: • Nasal congestion • Heaviness • Headache ● Simple yet effective: 1 teaspoon of fennel powder • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon • 1 teaspoon of honey. Useful for coughs. ● Tulsi decoction: Boil one teaspoon of basil in a cup of water for one minute. Drink it hot. This reduces the effects of fever and infections. ● Sitopaladi powder – 1 part • Maha Sudarshan powder – 1 part • Dosage: Take one teaspoon of the powder with one teaspoon of honey 2-3 times a day after meals. ●Karpooradi Thailam-Quick relief from cold, cough, and congestion: Don’t let a cold or cough slow you down. Get fast and natural relief with Karpooradi Thailam. This specially formulated blend of natural ingredients is designed to ease congestion and expel mucus, providing quick relief from cough and chest discomfort.Take about 10 ml of Karpooradi Thailam in a bowl. Place the bowl in warm water and check the temperature before applying, especially for children. Rub generously on the chest, back, neck, and mildly along the sinuses. Follow with warm steam inhalation or apply a hot compress. ● Nasal care: Ghee Nasya: Put 3-5 drops of lukewarm ghee in each nostril in the morning and evening. This provides relief from: • Dryness • Sneezing • Burning sensation ● Diet and lifestyle: Drink warm water frequently. Eat light and easily digestible foods. Avoid cold beverages. Avoid heavy meals. ● Relaxation and Yoga: Rest is Medicine • Get plenty of rest • Practice only light yoga poses like Surya Namaskar • Agni-bending postures. These postures clear nasal mucus and eliminate accumulated phlegm. ● Pranayama: Cleansing through breathing • Kapalabhati (light) • Anulom-Vilom (without Kamaka). Lifestyle Steam inhalation once daily Avoid sudden temperature changes (AC ↔ heat) Maintain regular sleep
