Your symptoms of continuous runny nose and frequent sneezing for more than six months indicate a chronic allergic tendency where the nasal passages have become overly sensitive and reactive even without a clear trigger this usually happens when immunity is low and there is persistent irritation of the respiratory lining Histantin tablet one tablet twice daily after food which helps reduce allergic response and frequency of sneezing Use Anu Taila two drops in each nostril in the morning on empty stomach this helps strengthen nasal mucosa and reduce sensitivity over time Drink warm water throughout the day avoid cold foods refrigerated items curd at night bananas at night and exposure to dust cold air or direct fan At night you can take turmeric milk if it suits your digestion Since your symptoms are long standing improvement will be gradual over six to eight weeks with better stability over a few months when continued regularly

Hello I can understand it is frustrating to deal with continous runny nose and sneezing for almost more than 6 months and more irritating when nothing works But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 ▪️For your understanding Your presenting condition correlates with pratishaya that is chronic rhinitis It mainly involves Kapha dosha = runny nose and excess of mucus Vata dosha= resulting in frequent sneezing Because of this your symptoms are persistent and recurring ▪️So our treatment should focus on -reducing your cold and runny nose -balancing the dosha -Preventing the recurrence ▪️Ayurvedic Plan of treatment ▪️Nasya Most important Nasya is the procedure through which we will istill medicine in the nostrils As this will clear the tract and eliminate the mucus In your case Anu taila will be the best Wash your face apply lukewarm. Coocnut oil on face massage for 5 mins and do steam for 2 minutes Then put 2 drops in each nostrils If you dont have time or not able to do then you can Directly put 2 drops in each nostrila Once a day in morning ▪️Internal Medication ➖Haridra khand 1 tsp with warm water morning after breakfast ➖Kanakasavam 20 ml twice daily after food ➖Dashmoolkatutrya kashaya tablets 2 tablet twice daily after food ➖Agastya Rasayana 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water ▪️Steam inhalation Take a steam of warm water infused with Euclayptus oil ▪️Diet plan Include -Drink throughout the day warm water only -have turmeric milk -have herbal teas Avoid -Cold food items -Exposure to dust -fried food Follow this for 30 days You will definately feel relief Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Namaste, Long-term runny nose and continuous sneezing usually indicate chronic allergic rhinitis, often related to kapha imbalance with weak immunity. Simple understanding: When immunity is sensitive, body overreacts to dust, weather, or unknown triggers. Repeated medicines may give temporary relief but root cause (immunity + sensitivity) remains. Simple measures that may help: Avoid cold foods, curd at night, refrigerated items. Protect from dust, pollution, and cold air. Drink warm water throughout the day. Do steam inhalation (plain or with ajwain) once daily. Practice pranayama (like Anulom Vilom) to improve respiratory health. Keep digestion strong and regular. Consistency is very important in allergy management. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Haridrakhand – 1 teaspoon, twice daily after food Sitopaladi Churna – 1/2 teaspoon with honey, twice daily after food These are traditionally used to reduce allergy symptoms and improve immunity. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.

Hello, Ayurvedic view This happens due to -Aggravation of Kapha and Vata dosha Kapha= cold. heavy , moist- causes mucus, congestion, and heaviness -Vata= cold, dry, light- causes irritation, soreness, and runny nose Weak digestive fire Reduced Ojas (immunity )- the body’s resistance power decreases Thus, cold exposure-> agni suppression -> kapha accumulation-> vata irritation-> throat , sinus, and respiratory issues Physiological view Cold exposure constricts blood vessels in the throat and nasal mucosa, lowering local immunity and allowing viruses or allergens to trigger infection or inflammation Treatment goals 1) Balance kapha and vata dosha =reduce cold sensitivity and mucus formation 2) strengthen agni = improve immunity an metabolism 3) Enhance Ojas (natural resistance) 4) Protect throat and nasal mucosa from environmental triggrs 5) Prevent recurrence through lifestyle correction Intenral medication 1) Trikatu churna= 1/4 tsp with honey twice daily after meals for 6-8 weeks =stimulates agni, burns excess kapha, improves metabolism 2) Shitopaladi + talisadi + yashtimadhu churna= 1 tsp each with honey twice daily after meals for 6 weeks =ssoothes throat, clears congestion , relieves throat irritation and mild cough, heals sore throat, anti inflammatory 3) Amritarishta= 15ml with equal water after meals for 3 months =builds immunity, reduces fever tendency 4) Chyawanprasha = 1 tsp every morning with warm milk for 6 months =immunomodulatory, rejuvenates respiratory system 5) Khadiradi vati= such 1 tab 3-4 times daily during sore throat phase =local antiseptic, clears voice External theraies 1) Nasya= 2 drops of Anu taila in each nostril daily morning after bath =lubricates nasal mucosa, prevents cold entry, clears sinuses 2) Ooil massage = daily warm sesame oil massage especially chest, neck and soles =balances vata, improves circulation 3) Steam therapy= mild steam inhalation with tulsi , ajwain, or eucalyptus leaves =clears kapha congestion 4) Gandusha= gargle with warm water + salt + turmeric =reduces throat inflammation Home remedies 1) TULSI-GINGER-BLACK PEPPER DECOCTION -boil 5 tulsi leaves + 1/2 inch ginger + 5 black peppercorns in 2 cups of water-> reduce 1 cup-. strain-> sip warm twice daily 2) TURMERIC MILK AT NIGHT= enhances immunity and reduces throat inflammation 3) GINGER HONEY MIX= fresh ginger juice + equal honey , take 1 tsp twice daily 4) STEAM INHALATION= use ajwain seeds or eucalyptus oil in hot water; inhale vapours for 5-10 mins 5) WARM SALT- TURMERIC GARGLE -gargle twice daily to reduce throat swelling 6) Chew 2-3 black peppercorns with honey to soothe throat and reduce post nasal drip YOGA ASANAS -bhujangasana -matsyasana -ustrasana -setu bandhasana -surya namaskar= gentle and regular practice PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= 10 min/day -Bhramari= 5min/day -Kapalbhati LIFESTYLE CHANGES -always drink lukewarm water, avoid refrigerated water -avoid ice cream, cold drinks, curd, banana , refrigerated food -avoid sleeping during daytime and staying awake late at night -cover throat and chest during cold weather -avoid sudden shift from hot to cold environments (e.g Ac after shoer) -take light, easily digestible warm wate-> khichdi, dal soup, vegetable soups -include spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon -avoid heavy, oily, or sweet foods at night -maintain good oral and nasal hygiene -moderate daily exercise to enhance metabolism DIET -warm water, herbal tea -moong dal, khichdi, rice gruel, light soups -steamed or sauteed vegetables -garlic ,ginger, turmeric, black pepper, clove -honey small quantity, never heated -fruits like pomegranate, apple, papaya AVOID -ice cream, cold milk, soft drinks, cold water -curd, buttermilk, cheese at night -heavy sweets , fried foods -banana, cucumber, watermelon -excessive dairy products Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
