Hello So, I get what you’re saying. This old allergy that flares up with cold stuff, dust, and strong smells? In Ayurveda, that’s because of messed-up Kapha and Vata.

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING What’s happening:

* You get a cold from cold stuff. * Dust makes you allergic. * Strong smells make you sneeze and your nose runs. * You sometimes need meds.

What it means: * Too much Kapha dosha. * Stuff (Ama – like mucus) is stuck in your nose areas. * Your immunity is a bit weak.

HELLO,

This condition is not a serious disease, but a long-standing sensitivity of the body.

Your body reacts more than normal to -cold weather or cold air -dust, pollution -strong smells (perfumes, chemicals, smoke)

Sometimes symptoms appear and medicine is required, but otherwise the person feels normal. This means -disease is functional, not structural -Immunity is weak in response, not absent -Conditiion is reversible and controllable

According to Ayurveda, this condition mainly involves

A) KAPHA DOSHA -causes mucus, heaviness , cold sensitivity -Reacts to dust, cold, damp environment

B) VATA DOSHA -makes symptoms sudden, recurrent -causes hypersensitivity and dryness

C) WEAK AGNI (Digestive and Immune fire) -Improper digestion-> toxin formation (ama) -ama makes body overreact to harmless things like dust or smell

So the root problem is Imbalanced Kapha + vata + weak digestion= repeated allergies

This is similar to Pratisyaya/Allergic rhinits in Ayurveda.

TREATMENT GOALS -reduce body hypersensitivity -balance kapha and vata -strengthen digestion and immunity -prevent recurrence -reduce dependence on anti-allergy medicines

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) SITOPALADI CHURNA= 1/2 tsp twice daily with honey after meals for 8 weeks =reduces allergy tendency, clears mucus, improves respiratory immunity

2 ) TALISADI CHURNA= 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water after meals for 8 weeks = protects from cold sensitivity , reduces reaction to dust and cold air

3) HARIDRA KHANDA= 1 tsp at night with warm milk for 8 weeks =best classical anti allergic mediicne, reduces histamine- like reactions naturally

4) GUDUCHI GHAN VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals with warm water for 3 months =immunomodulator, prevents frequent recurrence

5) CHYAWANPRASHA= 1 tsp daily morning =improves lung and nasal immunity, prevents seasonal allergies

EXTERNAL TREATMENT

1) NASYA THERAPY= ANU TAILA -2 drops in each nostril daily morning for 21 days =strenthems nasal lining, reduces sensitivity to cold and dust, prevents direct allergen reaction

HOME REMEDDIES

1) STEAM INHALATION with plain water or ajwain -2-3 times per week

2) TURMERIC MILK -1/2 tsp turmeric in warm milk at night -reduces inflammation and allergy

3) HONEY + WARM WATER -morning empty stomach -clears kapha and improves immunity

4) TULSI + GINGER TEA -especially during cold exposure

DIET -warm, freshly cooked food -rice,wheat, moong dal -cooked vegetables gourd, pumpkin, carrot -mild spices= turmeric, cumin, ginger, pepper -warm water regularly

AVOID -cold drinks, ice cream -curd at night -cheese, bakery items -fried, oily, heavy foods -excess sweets

LIFESTYLE CHANGES -avoid cold exposure suddenly -cover nose and head In winter -avoid dust and strong smells as much as possible -do not sleep during daytime -regular sleep routine -oil massage with warm sesame oil 2-3 times/week

YOGA AND PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= balances immunity -Bhramari= reduces hypersensitivity -Mild kapalbhati= improves kapha balance -Surya namaskar= improves circulation

Avoid yoga during acute cold or severe symptoms

REASSURANCE -Condition is manageable -Attacks can become rare or absent -Medicine dependency can be reduced -Lifestyle correction gives long term relief

This is a sensitivity problem, not a dangerous disease. Ayurveda works best when medicines are combined with correct food, routine, nasal care, and breathing practices.

Consistency is more important than strong medicines.

Treat the root, not just the symptoms- relief will follow naturally

यह स्थिति कोई गंभीर बीमारी नहीं है, बल्कि शरीर की एक लंबे समय से चली आ रही सेंसिटिविटी है।

आपका शरीर सामान्य से ज़्यादा रिएक्ट करता है -ठंडे मौसम या ठंडी हवा से -धूल, प्रदूषण से -तेज़ गंध (परफ्यूम, केमिकल, धुआँ) से

कभी-कभी लक्षण दिखते हैं और दवा की ज़रूरत पड़ती है, लेकिन बाकी समय व्यक्ति सामान्य महसूस करता है। इसका मतलब है -बीमारी फंक्शनल है, स्ट्रक्चरल नहीं -इम्युनिटी कमज़ोर है, खत्म नहीं -यह स्थिति ठीक हो सकती है और कंट्रोल की जा सकती है

आयुर्वेद के अनुसार, इस स्थिति में मुख्य रूप से शामिल हैं

A) कफ दोष -इससे बलगम, भारीपन, ठंड के प्रति सेंसिटिविटी होती है -धूल, ठंड, नमी वाले माहौल पर रिएक्ट करता है

B) वात दोष -लक्षणों को अचानक और बार-बार होने वाला बनाता है -हाइपरसेंसिटिविटी और सूखापन पैदा करता है

C) कमज़ोर अग्नि (पाचन और इम्यून अग्नि) -ठीक से पाचन न होना -> टॉक्सिन बनना (आम) -आम शरीर को धूल या गंध जैसी हानिरहित चीज़ों पर ज़्यादा रिएक्ट करने के लिए मजबूर करता है

तो मूल समस्या है असंतुलित कफ + वात + कमज़ोर पाचन = बार-बार एलर्जी

यह आयुर्वेद में प्रतिश्याय/एलर्जिक राइनाइटिस जैसा ही है। इलाज के लक्ष्य - शरीर की हाइपरसेंसिटिविटी कम करना - कफ और वात को संतुलित करना - पाचन और इम्यूनिटी को मजबूत करना - दोबारा होने से रोकना - एंटी-एलर्जी दवाओं पर निर्भरता कम करना

अंदरूनी दवाएं

1) सितोपलादि चूर्ण = 1/2 चम्मच दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद शहद के साथ 8 हफ़्ते तक = एलर्जी की प्रवृत्ति कम करता है, बलगम साफ करता है, सांस की इम्यूनिटी में सुधार करता है

2) तालिसादि चूर्ण = 1/2 चम्मच दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद गर्म पानी के साथ 8 हफ़्ते तक = ठंड के प्रति संवेदनशीलता से बचाता है, धूल और ठंडी हवा से होने वाली प्रतिक्रिया को कम करता है

3) हरिद्रा खंडा = रात में 1 चम्मच गर्म दूध के साथ 8 हफ़्ते तक = सबसे अच्छी क्लासिकल एंटी-एलर्जिक दवा, हिस्टामाइन जैसी प्रतिक्रियाओं को स्वाभाविक रूप से कम करती है

4) गुडुची घन वटी = 2 गोलियां दिन में दो बार खाने के बाद गर्म पानी के साथ 3 महीने तक = इम्यूनोमॉड्यूलेटर, बार-बार होने से रोकता है

5) च्यवनप्राश = रोज़ सुबह 1 चम्मच = फेफड़ों और नाक की इम्यूनिटी में सुधार करता है, मौसमी एलर्जी से बचाता है

बाहरी इलाज

1) नस्य थेरेपी = अणु तेल - रोज़ सुबह दोनों नथुनों में 2 बूंदें 21 दिनों तक = नाक की परत को मजबूत करता है, ठंड और धूल के प्रति संवेदनशीलता कम करता है, सीधे एलर्जन प्रतिक्रिया को रोकता है

घरेलू उपाय

1) भाप लेना सादे पानी या अजवाइन के साथ - हफ़्ते में 2-3 बार

2) हल्दी वाला दूध - रात में गर्म दूध में 1/2 चम्मच हल्दी - सूजन और एलर्जी कम करता है

3) शहद + गर्म पानी - सुबह खाली पेट - कफ साफ करता है और इम्यूनिटी बढ़ाता है

4) तुलसी + अदरक की चाय - खासकर ठंड लगने पर

आहार - गर्म, ताज़ा बना हुआ खाना - चावल, गेहूं, मूंग दाल - पकी हुई सब्जियां लौकी, कद्दू, गाजर - हल्के मसाले = हल्दी, जीरा, अदरक, काली मिर्च - नियमित रूप से गर्म पानी

इनसे बचें - ठंडे पेय, आइसक्रीम - रात में दही - पनीर, बेकरी की चीजें - तले हुए, तैलीय, भारी भोजन - ज़्यादा मीठा

जीवनशैली में बदलाव - अचानक ठंड के संपर्क में आने से बचें - सर्दियों में नाक और सिर ढकें - जितना हो सके धूल और तेज़ गंध से बचें - दिन में न सोएं दिन का समय -नियमित नींद का रूटीन -हल्के गर्म तिल के तेल से हफ्ते में 2-3 बार मालिश

योग और प्राणायाम -अनुलोम विलोम = इम्यूनिटी को संतुलित करता है -भ्रामरी = हाइपरसेंसिटिविटी को कम करता है -हल्का कपालभाति = कफ संतुलन में सुधार करता है -सूर्य नमस्कार = ब्लड सर्कुलेशन में सुधार करता है

तेज सर्दी या गंभीर लक्षणों के दौरान योग करने से बचें

आश्वासन -यह स्थिति मैनेजेबल है -अटैक कम या खत्म हो सकते हैं -दवाओं पर निर्भरता कम की जा सकती है -जीवनशैली में सुधार से लंबे समय तक राहत मिलती है

यह सेंसिटिविटी की समस्या है, कोई खतरनाक बीमारी नहीं। आयुर्वेद सबसे अच्छा तब काम करता है जब दवाओं को सही भोजन, रूटीन, नाक की देखभाल और सांस लेने के तरीकों के साथ मिलाया जाता है।

लगातार अभ्यास करना तेज दवाओं से ज़्यादा ज़रूरी है।

सिर्फ़ लक्षणों का नहीं, बल्कि जड़ का इलाज करें - राहत अपने आप मिलेगी
