Yes, Anu Tailam is one of the safest & most effective Ayurvedic remedies for allergic rhinitis in children >5–6 years old. It clears nasal passages, reduces Kapha & inflammation, strengthens local immunity and decreases frequency/severity of symptoms over 4–12 weeks. ✓How to administer Dosage & Frequency 2 drops in each nostril Once daily (morning is best – after bath or face wash) Total: 4 drops per day (2 per nostril) ✓Step-by-step method Make child lie down flat on back with head slightly tilted backward (pillow under shoulders if needed). Warm 4–5 drops of Anu Tailam by keeping bottle in warm water for 1–2 min (never heat directly). Put 2 drops in right nostril and gently close right nostril with finger and ask child to inhale slowly through nose. Repeat in left nostril. Let child stay lying down for 2–3 minutes (can gently massage bridge of nose). Child may feel mild irritation or sneezing for 1–2 min = normal & good sign (Kapha coming out). After 2–3 min, child can sit up & spit out any mucus/drops that come to throat (do not swallow). ✓Duration Use daily for 6–8 weeks continuously then reduce to 3–4 days/week for maintenance if symptoms much better. Safe for long-term use in children (many use 3–6 months or seasonal). ✓Additional quick tips Continue any prescribed allopathic medicines (antihistamine/nasal spray) as doctor advised = Anu Tailam is complementary. Steam inhalation with plain warm water + pinch rock salt 5–10 min daily (loosens mucus). Avoid: cold drinks, ice-cream, curd at night, dust exposure, strong smells. Give warm water + roasted jeera sip throughout day. ✓When to stop / consult If severe irritation, nose bleed or worsening symptoms stop & show ENT/paediatrician. If no improvement in 3–4 weeks have ENT check (rule out adenoids/deviated septum/allergic fungal sinusitis). Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Hello Yes Anu Tailam is a safe and works well for kids with allergic rhinitis if you use it right. Sounds like your kid’s sneezing, stuffy nose, runny nose, itching, and constant sniffles mean there’s too much Kapha + Vata messing with their Pranavaha Srotas (nose and breathing pipes). AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING Allergic rhinitis? That’s Pratishyaya It happens because: Too much Kapha = mucus, all that congestion Vata’s out of whack = sneezing, dryness, and feeling irritated Weak defenses in the nose and sinuses Anu Tailam helps by: –Getting the nasal passages nice and slick –Clearing out that sticky Kapha –Boosting local defenses –Stopping allergens from getting in deep What’s Anu Tailam all about? It’s a classic Nasya oil that’s good for: –Allergic rhinitis –Sinus issues –Non-stop colds –Nose jams –Keeping the breathing stuff strong It’s safe for kids if you don’t overdo it. How to Give Anu Tailam to Your 7-Year-Old How Often? Once a day, in the morning. How Much? Just 1 drop in each nostril. (Seriously, don’t give more than that to a kid!) The Steps –Warm up the bottle a bit in some hot water. –Have your child lie down with their head tilted back a little. –Put 1 drop in each nostril. –Tell them to sniff gently. –Keep them still for a minute. If any mucus comes out, wipe it away – don’t hold it back. How Long? 30 days Then, see how things are going. Extra Help (Not required, but good) If the symptoms are bad: 1.Sitopaladi Churna ½ tsp twice a day with honey 2.Haridra Khanda ½ tsp before bed with warm milk These tackle allergies at the source. DIET PLAN Avoid –Cold milk – Ice cream – Curd at night. – Chocolates – Bakery stuff INCLUDE – Warm soups – Turmeric milk – Steamed veggies – Tulsi tea When Will Things Get Better? –Sneezing eases up in about a week or so –Blockage chills out in 2–3 weeks –Allergy attacks get less bad within a month Anu Tailam doesn’t just mask allergies; it strengthens the nose’s defenses, so your kid gets less sensitive over time. You’re picking a safe, long-term fix. Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Yes, for a 7-year-old with allergic rhinitis, Anu Tailam can be given nasally (nasya therapy) in small amounts. How to give Use 2 drops in each nostril. Do this once daily, preferably in the morning. Make sure your child lies down with head tilted back and gently inhales the oil. After administration, try to keep the child calm for 2–3 minutes. Do not give if your child has a cold with congestion or fever. Precautions Use only pure, medicated Anu Tailam from a reliable brand. Avoid giving more than 2 drops per nostril at this age. Along with chitrakiharitaki lehyam 1/2 tsp u ll get results Avoid oily spicy food meat Dr RC BAMS MS
