In Ayurveda, urticaria, which you might know as hives, can be understood through the lens of doshas, particularly Pitta and Kapha. Pitta is associated with heat and transformation, while Kapha is linked to stability and moisture. When there’s an imbalance in these doshas, it can lead to skin issues like urticaria. The itching and flare-ups you’re experiencing could be a result of excess heat in the body, which is often aggravated by certain foods, like curd and urad dal, that can create a reaction in sensitive individuals. Another important concept here is agni, or digestive fire. If your agni is weak or imbalanced, it can lead to improper digestion of foods, resulting in ama, which is a kind of metabolic waste or toxins. This ama can accumulate and manifest as skin irritations or allergic reactions. So, when you eat foods that your body struggles to process, it can trigger those uncomfortable flare-ups. Additionally, the condition of your srotas, which are the channels in your body that transport nutrients and waste, plays a role too. If these channels are obstructed or imbalanced, it can lead to skin issues as well. Think of it like a clogged drain — when things aren’t flowing smoothly, problems arise dont use curd take tab histadin 2-2-2 after foods take haridra kahnd 2-2-2 take panchtikta ghurth 5 ml at empty stomch at morning and apply affceted part

Avoid triggers Curd, urad dal, fried/spicy food, junk food. Kharida Rishta can continue as prescribed. Charak Urtiplex capsules generally safe, can be taken for urticaria, but start under guidance and monitor for improvement. Supportive measures Take Triphala churna ½ tsp at night for digestion. Apply coconut oil or aloe vera on itchy skin. Drink warm water; avoid cold drinks.

This condition described as Sheetapitta (Urticaria)-due to aggravated Vata and Kapha doshas displacing Pitta, leading to inflammation in the blood (Rakta Dhatu). Your observation about curd and urad dal is spot-on: both are Abhishyandi (clogging) and Amla (sour/heavy), which trigger these flare-ups. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) manjishthadi kashayam- 15 ml with 60 ml warm water Twice daily, 30 mins before food 2) Haridra khandam - 1 tsp Twice daily with warm water/milk after food 3) khadirarishtha - 20 ml with equal water Twice daily after food 4)urtiplex capsule- 1 capsules Twice daily after food 5) nalpamadi oil- external apply on affected areas 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Strictly Avoid Fermented Foods: Curd (Dadhi), Idli/Dosa batter, vinegar, and pickles. Heavy Legumes: Urad dal (black gram) as it increases Kapha and clogs channels. Sour/Salty Foods: Tamarind, tomatoes, lemons, and excessive salt. Exposure to Cold: Avoid direct AC air, cold showers, or walking in cold wind immediately after meals. Include Grains: Old rice (Shali Dhanya), Barley, and Mung Dal (instead of Urad). Vegetables: Bitter gourd (Karela), Drumstick (Sahajan), and Bottle gourd (Lauki). Water: Drink only lukewarm water to maintain Agni (digestive fire) and prevent Ama (toxin) buildup. Since you are already taking a tonic, ensure you maintain a 15-20 minute gap between the liquid tonics and the capsules to allow for proper absorption.

Your symptoms are typical of chronic urticaria (sheetapitta) with clear food triggers like curd and urad dal. This indicates pitta + ama involvement with some allergic tendency. about your current medicine Khadirarishta (kharida rishta) is good → works on blood purification and reduces itching gradually can you take Urtiplex? Charak Urtiplex capsules → Yes, you can take it why it helps anti-allergic action reduces itching, wheals, and recurrence works well along with khadirarishta how to take 1 capsule twice daily after food important diet precautions (very important in your case) avoid strictly: curd (especially at night) urad dal fermented, sour, and heavy foods packaged / processed food prefer: light diet (moong dal, lauki, tori) warm water simple additions for better control Arogya vardhini vati 2 bd take Triphala at night (mild detox) avoid day sleep manage stress (also a trigger)

Hello, You’re describing a classic pattern of food triggered urticaria - especially with curd + urad dal which are known to aggravate kapha + pitta and increase ama (toxins) Can you take charak Urtiplex with Khadirarishta tonic? -Yes, generally they can be taken together But only if -No severe symptoms like swelling of lips, breathing issue -You’re not already on strong antihistamines or steroids Both are Ayurvedic formulations aimed at -blood purification -allergy control -reducing itching But combining multiple formulation can sometimes -overstimulate digestion -not address root cause properly Better -take one medicine + one supportive, not many at once Root cause Your pattern suggests -pitta + kapha imbalance -weak digestion -accumulation of ama -> triggers hives after certain foods Trigger foods you mentioned -curd -> heavy, sour, increases kapha + pitta -urad dal-> heavy, gas forming, ama producing Treatment stratergy 1) Fix digestion most important without this , medicines won’t work long term Morning empty stomach -warm water + 5-7 drops lemon Before meals -small piece ginger + pinch rock salt Medications -Urtiplex capsule= 2 twice daily after meals -continue Khaira Rishta Or -Haridra khanda= best classical medicine for urticaria -Guduchi tablets= 2 tabs twice daily after meals Diet rules -lauki, tori, parval -moong dal -old rice, chapati -warm water only Avoid -curd especially at night -urad dal -fermented foods= idli, dosa -cold drinks, ice cream -fish+milk combo -fried + spicy junk Home remedy Daily -1 tsp turmeric + warm water or Milk -neem or giloy juice (morning) For itching -apply coconut oil + pinch camphor Lifestyle -avoid daytime sleep -avoid sudden temperature changes -manage stress as it worsens urticaria significantly Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

To Treat urticaria ( sheet pitta ) properly you require patience and proper diet regimen for at least 3 months . khadir arishtha may not be the right choice of medicine in this . 1st Avoid having stale food, curd and any other sour foods should be avoided. Hot and cold things mixed should be avoided increase intake of water Medicine : 1. guggulu tikhta kasaya ( kottakal ) - 20 ml BF morning and at night 2. panchathikta ghrita guggulu- 2 tab BF morning and at night 3. Haridra khanda - 1 tsp at night with water 4. hatitaki tablet - 3 tablet at night with water water these are the things you have to follow on regular basis
