I am dealing with this super annoying acne situation that's really been bugging me. My friend suggested I try Multani Mitti, saying that it works wonders for clearing up skin. Like, I’ve read some stuff about how does multani mitti remove pimples, but I’m still kinda unsure if it's just hype or if it's actually effective. Honestly, my face has been breaking out like crazy the past few months, and I've tried everything from over-the-counter creams to home remedies with very little luck. Sometimes I feel like nothing is working, ya know? The other day, I applied a clay mask and the next morning it just seemed worse. Can't help but think that maybe does multani mitti remove pimples for some people and I just haven’t been doing it right. I mean, I'm curious about how often I should use it and if I should mix it with something or just use it alone. Does anyone have experience with this or tips? Also, if it helps with oily skin too, that’d be a bonus! Thanks in advance, really appreciate it!

Multani Mitti, or Fuller’s Earth, is indeed a popular remedy for treating acne and oily skin, and while it isn’t exactly a guarantee, many people do find it helpful. It’s highly valued in Ayurveda for its cooling and drying properties, which can balance the excess Pitta and Kapha in the skin, often root of acne and oiliness problems.

Acne can stem from various factors—diet, stress, hormonal imbalances, or even poor digestive health (improper Agni) which in Ayurveda, can exacerbate your skin issues. Multani Mitti can absorb excess oil and deeply cleanse the pores. It can also improve blood circulation when used correctly, contributing to healthier skin over time.

For application, you can start by using Multani Mitti 2-3 times a week. Mix it with rose water for Pitta skin types as this combination has a cooling effect, great for reducing inflammation. If you have drier or more balanced skin, using it with milk or honey can prevent over-drying.

Here’s how you can use it: Take about 1-2 teaspoons of Multani Mitti, mix with enough rose water (or any of above) to form a paste. Apply evenly, avoiding sensitive areas like eyes and lips, and leave it till its semi-dry, usually for about 15-20 minutes. Rembaer to rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Although Multani Mitti might be helpful, make sure you also focus on holistic lifestyle changes: reduce fatty, spicy foods that aggravate Pitta, and include more cooling foods like cucumbers, aloe vera juice, and Indian gooseberries in your diet. Prioritize sleep and manage stress through meditation or yoga, as stress can mean more breakouts. Remember, what works for some people may not work for everyone, so patience and observation will be key. If your acne remains persistent, consulting a dermatologist or Ayurvedic physician might be necessary.
